We paid for parking and not one person asked for the parking pass. Hmm?🫤 The place looks really nice. The bathroom has paper towels next to a sink that is occupied by a person so you have to wait on them to finish and get their towel first. They have two air dryers but not everyone likes using them. We sat on second level by exit door, people were standing at the balcony to where we couldn’t see when we were sitting. The staff did nothing about that because they were doing the same thing. I saw the police go by several times but they didn’t seem concerned. And no exit on the side where I sat, guess if something bad happened I would have to jump the railing. If I didn’t get trampled first. The video of the students and the stage; well, we didn’t need to see the whole view of the students in chairs, we all had that view already. What would’ve been nice when the students were walking out to their seats, is to have the camera on the families child, not the seating. The stage view could have been better. You don’t see the student at the beginning of their walk, it starts in the middle of the stage. Just hope some of this helps. The place seems...
Read moreAn unusual place. It might be listed some places as a high school (it was when I first looked up the address for it) but you have to think of it as a combination high school/event center/mall/advanced learning center. It has facilities for students in the Forney school district to learn about theatre, construction, automotive maintenance and repair. It has a black box theatre for performances. A huge space for graduation ceremonies and other presentations that has a huge video screen for audience viewing. Places to eat. Try Forney Taqueria. That's the only place I tried the food. A coffee shop. A dance studio that had little kids learning ballet. Regular type of shops like a home décor shop. It's been open about 10 months. I happen to be in the area, so I walked around to see what it...
Read moreI've been visiting the OC in our area, and I'm impressed with the variety of offerings. From dining options to shopping boutiques, there's something for everyone. However, I've noticed that the boutiques seem to be struggling for customers, and I'd like to see them succeed. The eateries have more customers, but I think the center could benefit from even more foot traffic.
I believe the center has a great concept, and I'd love to see a library open here. I think it would attract more people to the area. There's also an indoor play area for kids that's available for parties, and I'm not sure if they offer open play yet. Additionally, there's a hair salon and a theater/stadium. The center also has ample parking,...
