Yesterday, April 11th, around 7 PM I decided to try this place due to all of the hype & posts I’ve seen. I was actually excited. I had just arrived back home from a flight & stomach was growling/empty. I’m saying this to acknowledge nothing was in my stomach at the time. My previous meal was an early lunch of cucumbers, hummus, grapes, etc., basically nothing heavy. Anyways, I ordered the three taco plate with beef, rice & beans with a churro on the side. I ate the churro on the way home & it seemed fine. Once I arrived home I dug into the real food. The rice was obviously old. You know how rice starts to get dark & hard, that’s what I was served. The beans were simple nothing special. The beef in the tacos seemed super salty but I didn’t think anything of it, I was starving & just ate it. Remember, I just got back from traveling so I was pretty exhausted & after eating immediately got ready for bed. My night was horrible. I was waking up, with the poops all throughout the night. My stomach had this horrible cramp also. That next morning, I’m still feeling bad. I had a 9am meeting for work that I was late for because I needed to use the restroom. By 11am I couldn’t even handle finishing my workday from home & took the rest of the day off. As soon as I informed my supervisor of this, I got that watered mouth feeling. The quickest place I could make it was to the sink & vomit water & whatever was left in my stomach from the tacos. I had chills, was sweating & shaking, obviously having food poisoning. I never ate breakfast btw because I wasn’t feeling well. After vomiting & pooping again, I started to feel better. With this experience, I personally will never go back to this place. Idk what adult is supposed to be managing them, but they really need to look into their food safety practices. My first experience here was pretty bad to...
Read moreMaybe going to this place at 8pm was the downfall, but here is my experience. I heard all the hype about this place, but was disappointed to say the least. We were served food that seemed like it was old and left out. The temperature of the food wasn’t even warm and we were the only customers there. The rice was literally two spoon fulls and was hard. The prices were also pretty high for a taqueria. Quesabirria plate: 3/10 Nuggets and fries: 7/10 (my kids liked it, but $8 for some frozen chicken nuggets and fries?! Come on!) Tacos de chorizo: 3/10 (had a fishy flavor) Beef tacos: 7/10 (best thing here) Tacos de tripa: 6/10 Horchata: 4/10 (tastes packaged)
I hate to give this place this rating but it’s not right serving old cold food to a customer...
Read moreThis place was my favorite for a long time once I discovered. I visit typically 2x a week on most weeks. As of lately, my orders have been completely messed up. I ask for double meat every time, and yet the last no kidding 5-6 times, I have been cheated. Then when I attempt to call them to complain, THEY CLOSE EARLY!!!! Posted business hours say till 9pm but yet here I am outside at 7:21, fully shut down. I called 5x before I got here. Weights and balances will be hearing about the fake business hours for sure. And unfortunately as I'm ranked in the top 10% of all food reviewers on Google, this is the absolute last time I'll ever waste my time and money here. I'd recommend...
