Rock River Lanes & King Pin Adventure Golf — Local services in Fort Atkinson

I will never come here again. When we arrived there was no one to help us. We went to the bar and asked for help and they told us to “go get that guy” and pointed towards people who were bowling. Eventually the bartender yelled “Christian” and a boy who was bowling in a group of friends came up to the counter and told us we could have a hour of bowling, and then when he tried to ring us up he said they couldn’t do that anymore. Once we were finally bowling, We had to be switched to 3 different lanes because they kept putting us on broken lanes. A boy who was there bowling on his day off who is employed there, ended up helping us more than the actual boy Christian who was working. We decided to order food and a pitcher of soda. When we got the soda it was completely flat and flavorless. We decided we wanted a refund based on the terrible service and soda so we tried to return the soda and get a refund for the food we hadn’t received yet. The lady said they could not refund us and could only give us a gift card. The gift card she gave us is absolutely disgusting and we left it there because there is no way we will ever return. She also told us she could not refund us for the food because she needed a better reason. So she refunded $6 for the pitcher of soda on to this nasty gift card. Stopped in to give the kids something to do while visiting the area from out of town - we were pleasantly surprised! Really nice putt putt out back, $24 for 4 adults and 2 kids to play on a Tuesday was an amazing deal - maybe the difference between rural Wisconsin and metro Detroit, but we pay at least that much for 2 people back home. After putt putt we did a game of bowling. The lanes are fully automated to set the bumpers up for kids & go back down again for the adults, which is a nice feature. The arcade was a hit with the kids as well.

I honestly cannot believe we came here several times over the last few years. I attribute it to the fact we moved into the area a few years ago and this establishment offers a few activities we enjoy. This place could be so specia, a local gem. But... Trust me, you will feel like an inconvenience EVERY time you go. We have gotten to know the area better and no longer have to suffer through the horrid customer service we received here all those times.
