My second time here in five weeks. I’m super happy I found this gem on the south side of town. The staff is so friendly, the bartender handles drink orders, bar patrons, and call in orders. They are all fantastic at their job! I started with the most sold appetizer—cheese curd in beer batter. Yes, I saw a cook come in and get some beer to mix the batter. Fried enough to be crispy and get a cheese pull, but not greasy at all. An Alaskan Amber goes well with curds and ā€˜zza!! The pizza is made of the house dough baked in a brick oven. The crust comes out crispy and the toppings hot. What you see is the personal size ā€œMeatheadā€. Generous toppings and plenty of cheese for a great pull when it’s hot. I stuck around to watch some baseball and I was in no hurry. That 8-10ā€ pizza was only finished by waiting that long. It will fill you up. There is a 3% charge extra for credit cards. Service and food was above average so a generous tip was given to the college bartender attending college in Arizona. I highly recommend you stop in any night.

First time coming here! Really enjoyed it! The homemade cream of chicken and wild rice soup is exactly what I needed on this cold winter day it was very good! We got two personal size pizzas and were pleasantly surprised how large they were!! We had the bacon cheeseburger and the buffalo chicken, both delicious. Crust is nice and crispy with great fresh ingredients. We also got a side of boneless wings and they were huge white meat chicken pieces. Just the kind of boneless wings I love! We could tell the quality and pride they take in their food! The service was also very wonderful! We will definitely be back!! Can’t wait to try some other specialty pizzas and some other dishes!!!

Very good pizza with cute little pizza looking plates. Fair selection of beer on tap and in bottles. The servers were very nice but they advertised masks required and no one was wearing them except one staff member. I don't really care what your politics is but false advertising is false advertising. Note: Be aware that no one wears masks in here. One staffer had a mask on and all the rest did not and none of the patrons had masks either. So if you're not into getting covid-19 then stay away.

We took home carry-out from here last night. It was our first time eating "at" this restaurant.

Service: The person who answered the phone was very helpful. I explained that we'd never been to their place before and he was patient in answering my questions about the menu (which is hard to read online, but apparently being updated soon), and gave me advice about a couple different options I was curious about. When we got there to pick up our order, we were greeted immediately and passed on to the correct person right away to pick up our order instead of seated in the dining room.

Decor: We didn't spend much time inside the restaurant as our order was to go, but from what I saw it looked nicely done. Either recently remodeled or very well cleaned and maintained. There is a good sized dining room and a separate bar area. It was decorated in (stereo)typical italian-american restaurant style (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

Food: The food was very rich, bordering on too rich, however, with that being said, it was good. Here are some details, as well as an explanation as to why I only rated the food a "1".

I ordered a small regular crust Maui pizza (canadian bacon, bacon, and pineapple (plus I added fresh mushrooms)). The crust is a bread style crust, chewy and soft on the edges and it held up nicely in the center. There ingredients were plentiful without being overloaded and overall the pizza was very good.

My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and for my 4 year old daughter we ordered the Cheese Ravioli with Alfredo sauce. Both were very rich, almost too rich, as I said. Additionally, the Alfredo sauce was loaded with (sauteed?) onions, which overpowered the rest of the sauce and left an unpleasant aftertaste. This is part of the reason I only rated the food section a "1".

The Fettuccine came with a slice of garlic bread which was very heavy on the garlic, and we also ordered cheese sticks, which were disappointing in that they were very thin, somewhat soggy, and overly greasy. This is the other part of the reason I only rated the food section a "1".

The price seemed a bit on the high side, and the $1.00 upcharge to have Alfredo sauce instead of Marina sauce on my daughters Cheese Ravioli was both unmentioned and seemed like a "nickel-and-dime" extra...especially since one of the items on the menu is a "build-your-own" pasta which includes either Marina or Alfredo sauce for the same price. This 'upcharge' issue is why I only rated the Service a "2", instead of a 3, since we weren't informed about this at the time we ordered when it had already been established that we were a first time customer.

In summary, the service and decor were good, my pizza was good, but the pastas left us feeling disappointed. We'll probably try them again, but this time we'll likely stick with pizza or maybe try the calzones that were also...

I ordered carry out on Wednesday 6/26. When I picked it up, the girl swiped my card, then got the owner. He did something on the POs system and two receipts printed. He then swiped my card again. I figured they made a mistake, voided the AUTHORIZATION, then charged the correct amount. I didn't say anything & neither did they. Mistakes happen so I dismissed it as a learning experience for the girl. On Thursday I looked at my account and saw they settled on the amount of my order, and there was a hold for $25.99. I called and the girl who answered the phone had me talk to the owner. At first he dismissed me, saying there was nothing he can do and the hold would be off the next day. He wasn't aware that I know you can have an authorization reversed and it takes 3-5 business days for the hold to be released. (As of today, 6/29 the hold is still on there) I told him I knew that's not the truth and that at the very least, he should have told me what happened. He then asked how he can make it right. I told him he needs to let people know when that happens so they have a heads up. A lot of people don't have $26 extra in their accounts. He offered me a gift card, got my email and said I'd have it in 10-15 min. I still didn't have it the next day, so I sent them an email and amessage on facebook. I never heard back. This was Thursday. On Friday I tried calling twice and there was no answer. I called a third time and asked for the owner. The girl told me "just a second", then came back on and said "he just left. Can I take your phone number and name down? I'll message him and let him know you would like him to contact you about the status of the issue". I still have not heard back from him. The lack of accountability and keeping his word is disappointing..I drove from Watertown just to get Brickhouse. I love their food and they are always friendly. I tell everyone who will be in that area to try Brickhouse. Sadly, I will not be going back nor recommending them in the future. I can't support poor...

I'm from the area but have now lived in Milwaukee for the past 2 years and the food and variety is one of my absolute favorite parts of the city. My visit today was my first time. Loved that I was welcomed warmly when I made my way through the door. I ordered the seafood Alfredo dish, scallops is one of my favorite seafood items so I was really happy to see that as an option. Flavors were pretty good, I feel the dish could have used a fresh, minced parsley garnish, that could brighten up the dish flavor wise and visually. The bread was great! I honestly expected ice berg lettuce type salad for my side salad but was extremely happy to see it was a spring mix/romaine! The carrots looked and tasted like they were freshly grated, regardless if they were, I don't care they were awesome. I got the balsamic dressing and that was tasty too. Only thing about the salad is I would have liked another cucumber slicešŸ˜† the pizza crust looked really good, I would definitely like to come back to try that! I was contemplating ordering a cocktail but when asked for a cocktail menu was told there wasn't one, do you not do speciality cocktails? Maybe at least have a liquor menu for customers because i could have had a better idea of what I would have wanted if I knew what you carried. I ended up ordering wine instead. Waiter was very friendly! However, our table became a bit cluttered as when we were done with certain things, they weren't being cleared out. I would also recommend making sure that everyone is done eating/ready for to go boxes and the table be cleared first before bringing the check(s). Those are just things I have experienced at some of my favorite places I eat at Milwaukee and definitely add to a...
