Yes this alley is on a military base meaning you can only go here if you have base access. If you put the address in your Google maps for directions it will tell you that the route uses restricted access roads. I don't get why people leave a 1 star review because they can't get on base, that does not tell anyone who has access anything helpful about the business. If you call and ask the staff will tell you that you need base access. With that being said the staff here does their best to make sure everyone that comes through the doors enjoys their time. It's a smaller alley with only 12 lanes but the food is good and atmosphere is usually good. There is no outside food or drink allowed just like any other bowling alley or restaurant. Lanes aren't perfect but the staff works to fix them fast when problems arise. Sometimes there can be a wait since they only have 12 lanes but the staff is usually good about getting people assigned to a lane when they become available. They have adult and youth leagues seasonally. They also have lockers you can rent for frequent bowlers that would rather leave their equipment there. There is a pro shop that is usually open during the week days. Also they have supplies available for purchase even if the pro shop isn't open such as socks, tape, shoe covers, etc. Parking can be limited as it shares a parking lot with the gym. There is also limited additional parking in the back. The snack bar has inside and outside seating. They serve breakfast as well as lunch/dinner food with lunch specials during the week. Lunch time can be busy during the week but they are pretty good about getting food out in a timely manner. There is a ramp out front for handicap accessibility as well as a mobile ramp inside for handicap accessibility to the lanes...
Read moreWe went for the first time today to bowl and it will be our last. (We go to eat and that’s fine, but the attendant for bowling needs to find a new job). We brought some friends with us who are visiting and along with our two young kiddos for some fun tonight and we received nothing but hatefulness the entire time. We have toddlers and of course as that goes, we had a small water spill and without realizing the water spill (in the food area) got on to the kiddy bowling helper and tracked water onto the bowling floor. As soon as I realized, we asked for a rag and began to clean. We had already been talked down to beforehand by the female attendant but as soon as she became aware of our small spill, she completely came for us with such a bad attitude that ruined the night. She continued to bad mouth us the rest of the night to others very loudly. Came to ‘clean’ our spill twice after we had wiped it up already and began to tell us what we spilled was sticky even after explaining it was water over and over to her. She also accused us of having our drink on the bowling floor, which again wasn’t the case and we tried to tell her that multiple times. If I were y’all, I’d be very careful when you go because you might be talked about and berated the...
Read moreBowling was awesome and for $10 for an hour plus shoes not bad at all. But tha brotha behind the counter was EXTREMELY rude! Just because you make minimum wage doesn't mean you can be rude to people. We were literally at the counter, he made eye contact, started eating wings while we waited. We asked to bowl and get shoes, he kept eating his wings. He didn't acknowledge us, didn't say he was on a lunch break. Nothing. 3 mins later after he finished his wings he FINALLY helped us. For this reason I won't go back. I would expect this off base, but on a military installation, such a disappointment. He was literally...
