Spare Time Grill — Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach

Beware, up sold at every turn. I was TDY and decided to walk across the street to get a burger and a beer. After I ordered I thought it seemed high and looked at the receipt. The lady working the counter charged me the "premium bottle" price for a yeungling, as well as the $3 combo upgrade charge without giving me a softdrink cup. When I asked about it she said it was automatic and there was nothing she could do because "all burgers are automatic combos." (I.e. burger menu price + $3). I've never heard of that at any on base bowling alley. It was clearly a lie and not at all what you'd expect from an on base...

Went there for a breakfast sandwich, ordered 2 of them, was asked multiple times what I ordered, the lady seemed to be having a difficult time putting orders in. The person behind me had the same issue with the cashier. Once I got my receipt the cashier only had 1 sandwich on there, it was not worth my time to try and get the other sandwich with as much difficulty as the cashier was having. Lunch may be different but I will not be going back anytime soon...

Today got told to put out water bottles back in our car even though we have always brought our own water. In fact they even let us fill our own water bottles in the past. Later then went to get a pitcher of water and none of the employees paid attention to the others or I at the counter. This is quite funky as we were had WATER. Will not be doing business of any sort with this place again. Just a heads up steer...
