Turnstone (Plassman Athletic Center) — Local services in Fort Wayne

My Mother-in-law has been coming to Turnstone since ~2009, after her stroke. She'll be 91 this month and still goes 3x's/wk!! She attributes her wellness to Turnstone. Beautiful, spacious, very large indoor track with 4 full sized basketball courts. I was very impressed with the new facility for youth and adult handicapped people. And I only saw part of the facilities. I know there are class and meeting rooms available too as well a offices for leadership. We were here for a week for the Boccia Ball National Tournament. We were so impressed with the quality of the facility for disabled individuals. The restrooms had all handicapped stalls complete with emergency pull cords in every stall. The parking facilities were well laid out and 20 to 25 handicapped accessible slots for vans.
