Food was good, aside from the plastic Zip-Loc slider I bit into. I would guess they pre-bag and heat their portions, adding them as they get ordered. Not the worst thing to find in food... But not exactly appetizing either.

I've given up expecting much from food service in Fort Wayne... Regardless of where we order from, we frequently find our food to be incorrect, missing items, missing sauces, etc.

It's irritating because these seem to be the folks amongst the most vocal about claiming they need higher pay... But most people working kitchens in this city can't seem to earn the wage they currently make... It's hard to make a case for them getting a significant raise.

And no, the argument of "I would work harder if I got paid more" does NOT hold water.... You are making the wage you can command with your skill, experience, and background.

I have worked in a lot of kitchens over the years; I am not at all unsympathetic about it, nor condescending about honest work.

On the other hand, if people cannot handle this sort of employment....there is no reason to think they would be successful in a position which was more technical, required more responsibility.... or paid more.

Food ordered via Doordash (our delivery person was excellent) on Sunday March...

THE BEST "Real Mexican food" Restaurant in Fort Wayne. I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years, no other place in town compares, so, so good. It is always evident when the cooks are the owners of the business. No corners are cut, the quality of the food is top notch, fresh made salsas that are bursting with flavor, but you can choose your "heat" grade. The beans...oh my god! The beans are so delicious I usually but a quart to go! They offer fresh seafood, traditional Mexican dishes, their beef soup is Epic! great combos, tacos by the each if your not too hungry , tortas and amazingly, they serve big juicy hamburgers and their fries are great too!! What else can I say, this place is very family oriented, comfortable, clean, children's menu, smiling attentive servers. Their prices are very affordable. Just love this restaurant. They are not a chain, owned by a very hard working local family. Go and be adventurous! Their...

From start to finish the customer service was amazing. We ordered take out & waited inside for our order. The young ladies at the front was very helpful at making sure my taco salad with no meat or dairy & added beans & rice was made correctly. The place was small & clean & had a nice vibe about it. This is definitely some of the best Mexican food I had in a while & I travel alot & eat it 4- 5 times a week in different states. The serving size of the food was huge & made with love. The guac was also delicious as well. Fresh lettuce & fine cut tomatoes & top of the line beans & rice. I highly recommend this place you can taste the love in the food. I appreciate great food & good service like this restaurant gives. Good job to the entire team!!

A really nice hidden gem of a restaurant. I took my large family there for lunch one Saturday and we were all extremely impressed. My nephew and his wife moved here from Arizona and she told me that her Carnitas were the best she's ever had, and they know Mexican food from living in the SW. I had the Huevos con Chorizo, which is rather hard to find on Mexican restaurants in the Fort Wayne area, and it delivered on all fronts. Service was stellar. You couldn't ask for better service. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable. I normally don't give 5 stars lightly, but I would say that so far this is probably one of the best and authentic Mexican restaurants in Fort Wayne. We will be back, and back, and back again for sure!
