Last May I took the TRE train from Dallas to Fort Worth and began walking north from the train station on Jones St in search of a Motel 6 to recover my car that had been stolen by Melissa Fitzgerald whom I had just bonded out of the Tarrant County Jail. I somehow wound up in this abandoned housing project that was wide open and not blocked off. It was nighttime and at first I thought the buildings were barns until I was inside the complex and realized what it was. It was kind of errie and I was glad to get out of there. There was no traffic in there either.

This was a very interesting accidental find. It is currently abandoned and boarded up for the most part. Currently, the City of Fort Worth is planning the future of the land and is supposedly saving some of the bricks for an art installation down the road. I personally hope that as many materials are repurposed as possible so the stories of life in this neighborhood live on.

Very cool experience and just based off the limited research I've done there is so much history here. Tried to visualize what it was like back in the day when life was flourishing here, very distopian apocalyptic vibe now, still so cool. Not sure if you can visit it but I did.

We have created a brand-new Foundation with absolutely nothing yet (FUNDS, BUILDING, ECT.) to help the less Fortunate and we are just getting started and I have driven by this place a lot on the bridge next to it and 2 days ago it was put in my heart (holy spirit) to look into this place. Our new Foundation will be to someday hopefully take in the homeless and let them come and go but the ones that want to stay and retrain them into the HVAC industry and using this as part of a resume to get back into the working society. We just need a lot of prayers by everyone to get this...
