I want to say that this has been my church family since 2018. I am head over heels in love with the Lord, but in the past I chose not to go to church because I had been so hurt by people that only wanted to condemn and cast me out… You need to understand that Legacy Church of Fort Worth is nothing like that. No matter what your life experience is this Church family only wants to love you! We all know how merciful Jesus has been to us. We are a family of recovery. We have all been in a bad place and we know that it was only by the grace of God we survived!! We are all from different places.. former drug dealers, recovering alcoholics, abused and betrayed… we have all been lost and rejected at some time in our life, some of us have even been hurt and condemned by religious people and could not trust that there was a God that would love us through it all. When you walk through the doors of Legacy, you will see people that might not look like you on the outside but have shared the same pain on the inside… WE FOUND A LOVING HOME! WE FOUND A FAMILY!

Pastor Jonathan Stringfellow is an honorable and loving Pastor. He cares deeply for all who step into our Church. He is going to preach the truth and it’s not always going to feel great, it might make us uncomfortable at times, but we need that to grow. That conviction is our spirit recognizing that God is searching our soul and leading us toward change. If he is feeding us the truth it might not always go down smooth, but it is going to feed our soul and give us strength. He will never stay away from the truth just to grow the church membership and that is what sets him apart!! He is going to protect us and lead us like a Shepherd should. He has integrity and he loves us too much to let us live a lie. He is also the most faithful, loving, funny and sincere Pastor you will ever meet, and he will kick down doors to save you and your family! He is the example that makes me want to be better for Jesus and his leadership is the reason I have survived my past and now have the desire to love on those who feel unloved! The moment you walk in to this church you will feel love surround you. I suggest visiting us online if you have questions before coming in! You can laugh with us, cry with us… and worship with us! When you decide to visit PLEASE let them know you are visiting with me, I know it can feel awkward visiting a Church for the first time so you already have a friend! I have been attending this church for three months now. And thought I found a church that was loving and welcoming. UNTIL THIS SERVICE! I have never in my life ever felt this way by a “ Christian” church and pastor in my life. He litterly preached how to hate, judge, and condemn. I will never walk back in this church again. I walked away from church 12 years ago for messages like this. I have no words right now and my heart hurts for all who whole heartedly feel like this message was anything but hateful, wrong, and beyond judge mental! I love god, and I know for a fact he did not sacrifice his life for a message like this. This pastor litterly said as I walked out with my family. I didn’t want you to eat with me at my table anyway! And that I will keep on preaching until more walk out. I have never experienced something like this! I AM NOT ASHAMED TO BE A CHRISTIAN! And this is not Christianity!!!!!
