Menudo was decent but the thing that they will lose business from in a location that a lot of stores have went out of business for one reason or another at the same address. The downfall I see is they charge people a extra 3% to use a credit card for paying which is a convenience to a lot of people and when people that are financially sound see that they get offended so instead of taking a 25 or 30 cent hit on a order of 10 or $12 they nickel and dime it to get it back and that will lose customers completely in the long run just FYI. And they also will sneak one in I guess like they tried with me and when you pay cash they still add that pay with credit card tax I had to bring it to their attention but I do not think they let it sink in that it is offensive it's not the pennies it's the principal. Businesses except credit card because it's a way they bring in more customers but there's no use accepting if you're going to charge the customer for it it's not like they're losing big money in $1,000 day that is only 20...
Read moreMy wife loves seafood so we decided to try this place, fairly new to the area. We were seated promptly. There is alot on the menu but honestly it's kind of all repetitive, same kind of dishes with different names. We started with shrimp cocktail, it was decent. Had to add hot sauce, not spicy enough for us. HEADS Up... They use alot of cucumber in all the dishes. My wife ordered an agua de piña which she said wasn't that great. Wifey ordered a dish (don't remember the name) that was called something like a seafood platter? She said it was mostly cucumber and onions. I ordered seafood tacos (shrimp and fish), the tortilla fell apart after 2 bites. They were decent but having to scoop them up instead of eat them like tacos kinda sucked. Overall, we weren't impressed. The place looks a little rundown. I know smaller businesses have to start somewhere, I get it, so I'm not holding that against them but it was the quality of the meal that wont bring us back. The service was ok, they were nice and checked on us as you...
Read moreNot worth it. The meat was good, with that being said, everything was cold. We orderd a torta, burrito supreme, and quesadilla supreme with fries, with an extra order of fries. The extra order of fries was rice (really!) The fries we got with the quesadilla were cold. The beans and rice that were supposed to come with the torta were fries (didnt ask for that). The torta looked big but it's just the bread that made it look like that. It had some beans ,meat, andlettuce with diced tomato. I was told it would have avocado....LOL I eventually found it. Tiny thin slice!! I had to put mayo ,cheese, and avocado when I got home. The burrito was the only thing that wasn't cold, and it was good . My husband said the burrito was supposed to come with a side of rice and beans, I'm not sure but if it was we didnt get it. Not going back!
. It's a shame because the meat is good, they just have to not be lazy and cook the stuff when you ask for it so that it is fresh and hot when you get...
