Hello Greg. I will now evaluate you fairly, as promised. I still don't understand how anyone can run a business the way Greg runs Crazy Horse Campground. The most important goal seems to be to not get a single customer. Greg is very good at this. On Monday, I emailed them to inquire about a spot available for an RV that weekend. They first wrote to me that they would definitely accommodate me. They then asked me to provide all the details, which I did and even sent pictures of our vehicle and trailer. I didn't get a response. I asked again if my email had arrived, and they asked me more questions, this time whether I was bringing animals and whether I was an AAA member. No. No. I thought we'd finally sorted everything out and I was booked, but then I just received an email saying I needed to call. Okay. I call two minutes later, and nobody answers. I ask via email why no one answers when I'm told to call. Greg then writes to me that he doesn't accept private callers. This whole thing is starting to become a joke with this attitude. I try again, this time someone answers. It's not exactly friendly, but he seems willing to book me into the system. I have to stay on hold twice because, Greg tells me, something is wrong. After the second attempt, Greg can't hear me anymore. I can hear him fine, so it can't be the connection. He probably muted me and doesn't know how to turn it off. He tells me to call again, which I actually do, but this time Greg simply hangs up. Yes, I get a message saying the participant has declined the call. I then send Greg my phone number and address so he can make the booking. Then, after 30 minutes, he texts me back, rudely, saying he doesn't have a spot available. Of course, Greg, it took us two days to do this. Clearly not the truth. I don't know what kind of behavior this is. This isn't a professional business. You're wasting your time at this campsite.

The best part... Covered spots!!! There are literally only about 2 options for RV parks that have covered sites and this is one of them. The other is the KOA but they are more expensive. There are about 19 spots and they are only about $10 more a night. Trust me it's worth it especially during the hot Arizona summers. The temperature was about 15 degrees cooler just standing in the shade and they have it designed perfectly to follow the path of the sun throughout the day. From what I saw, I would not recommend spot number 1 because you won't have any sun coverage until around 1 or 2pm. Other than that, all the other spots are perfectly fine. It is a little out of the way as far as reaching the main areas of the city (maybe 20 minutes) but not bad at all and close to the highway without the noise. Also you have a nice mountain view to the rear of the RV park with an open field dogs can run around in. One downside is there was a reasonable amount of dog poop in that field from owners not bothering to clean up after their pets. Overall we enjoyed the stay and use of the pool. It also has a nice sized recreation room with books, games, a pool table, and it seems like they have bingo on occasion as well as nice restrooms and showers.

We stayed for two nights. Site was covered with gravel. Close to level. It had a picnic table. The staff is very friendly and professional. Lots of activities happening. Free, fresh donuts and coffee certain days of the week. The price was fair (around $45 a night). The bath house was a bit dated, yet clean. Great water pressure for showers! There is a laundry room, and while we did not use it, I am aware they will exchange bills for quarters in the office. Easy on and off I-10. There is a Dollar General within walking distance. Lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. Davis-Monthan AFB is close by, as well as the Pima Air Museum...definitely worth checking out. Would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed at Crazy Horse RV Park for about 2.5 months, November to January. The park is definitely in need of some updating. The grounds in general are extremely clean and well-maintained. Park staff was very friendly and accommodating, particularly Claire in the office, and Mark and Russ in grounds maintenance. The pool is nice and clean, and it is heated. There are nice chairs and tables in the pool area. There are doggie bag stations throughout the park with garbage cans attached to dispose of dog waste.

As for the sites, they are a tight squeeze with not much space. You are absolutely stacked in. It would be difficult in most sites to even park a second vehicle. Park staff does come and help you pull in during business hours. There did appear to be picnic tables, but only at some sites. You are not allowed to have fires. There are both back-in and pull-through sites, along with some covered spaces.

The laundry facility has 8-10 each of washers and dryers, $2-$2.25 per wash, and $2 per dry. They do sell quarters in the office. There are three shower stalls in both the men’s and women's facilities, along with toilets. Both the laundry and the bathroom buildings were very clean.

The park does have a nice recreational hall with a pool table, and they do some activities, including coffee and donuts twice weekly, a game day, bingo, and pizza and taco nights. There is a pop and snack vending machine inside as well. Aside from the pool, there isn’t anything in the park for children to do.

One major complaint we had was that people drive way too fast through the park. We were backed up to an access road with a posted speed limit of 7.5 MPH, which people regularly drove 25 down despite several speed bumps. Another issue is Craycroft Road, which the park is on, is extremely busy and very noisy. We nicknamed it the Craycroft drag strip. The neighborhood across the road is very run down, there are dogs barking over there nonstop, and there’s lots of litter everywhere. We also heard gunshots on more than one occasion.

We did have several water outages while we were there, a couple due to sewer issues, and one due to upgrading water hardware, but did not experience issues with electricity. Electricity was about $60 per month for us, in a 34 foot trailer, in the winter months where we were not running AC.

Dollar General, Circle K, Pilot, and a taco truck are all within walking distance. There is also a large community park within walking distance. The park is easily accessed off of I-10. The Pima Air and Space museum is within a couple of miles, and East Saguaro National Park is about 20 minutes away.

We would return to this park in the future. Overall, we had a very positive...

So we are a family of five and we had a house fire so we needed a place to stay for a little while and we want to place it was close to work. Well we found Crazyhorse RV it wasn’t too far from work and obviously doesn’t look very good from the outside and to be honest with you it looks as bad as it is. We chose to stay there for one month hoping that our house might be done and decided to leave two weeks early because we decided to take a trip to California. So we only stayed there for two weeks. So we went back up to the office to ask them if we could maybe get some of our money back and we were told know that we couldn’t get any of our money back because we had already paid for it. Just to let you know the two weeks that we did stay there the cops came two different times , for who knows what, which made it very difficult for me to let my kids out and play anywhere. The pool broke on us for two days straight so we had nothing to do those days. Truly because there is nothing to do there! On their website they lie to you and say that they have cable, they lie they do not have cable. There is definitely a transient that rode through the RV park daily to see what he could steal from everyone. The RV next to us got his bike stolen while we were there. We are now a week and a half into our trip in California and we get a call from Rio ( the manager)telling us that we owe him for rent and we haven’t even been there for two weeks and owe him for next month! Even though we told him we were leaving on the second and we couldn’t get any money back. So he took our $70 deposit and kept it because he said we owed him money for electricity. So two weeks of electricity there is going to cost you $64 on top of what you pay for renting the place and getting no cable as they promise you! We are both in the customer service business and I have never met anybody like Rio that has treated us more like trash then I’ve ever met anybody before. So if you want to go to an RV park that is trash and they will treat you like trash and this is the RV park for you! Just...

in 2024 February I paid my usual $50 deposit as i do every year and when I called in for confirmation dates in October 2024 I was told the owner wanted to speak with me. Nobody in the office could tell me why and for 72 hours kept me in the dark and kept telling me the owner was out sick or left work due to becoming sick. Finally, after 72 hours was called back by the owner only to listen to his ongoing lies and rambling on about, I beat him out of his taxes owed him, whatever that means, I have no idea. He had used some choice words that I will not use here and he was loud and obnoxious during conversation. Said that I was not a good person when I never even did anything wrong to these people. And certainly, never cheated anyone out of any money... How can I cheat them out of taxes?? They create the invoice, put it in front of me and I must pay it... I may have asked questions which is allowed in America, but I paid my bill in full. So, after the 72 hours of non-speaking with me I was told I could not stay here any longer and to look for a credit on my account. I told him I always paid Crazy Horse my bills and taxes and did not know what he was talking about, but he could care less. He must have confused me with someone else but nevertheless he committed to kicking me out forever. I told him my community of friends and family and all my gem and rock associates that come to town for the gem shows would hear about how I was treated so unfair and booted out 8 months after giving a deposit and having to scramble to find another RV park at the last minute when they are all booking up, his reply was .... WE DONT WANT THE GEM PEOPLE STAYING HERE ANYWAYS. I will never go near this place of business, nor will I suggest anyone stay here due to the owner being way out in left field with his professionalism to the public and disrespect of people with his lies and labeling of individuals. Plus, the RV park is in an area that is not gated and should be due to what is going on at the outskirts of this place and area. I do not recommend this RV...
