Placed an online order 10 min before pick up… the fries seemed to have been cooked an hour ago, and the burger was only barely above room temperature 🤦♀️ it had all the correct fixings I asked for, so it’s strange it had to have been just made but only barely warm. Didn’t have my strawberry shake or iced tea, but substituted other drinks. It’s a brand new location, if it was well established would’ve given 2 stars, gave a 3 for benefit of the doubt for new growing pains… I work as a cook in a busy restaurant, so I know there’s no excuse for serving old, cold fries… get someone tasked at that fry station and don’t let it get abandoned!
Update: downgrade to 2 stars cuz second visit was equally as disappointing, half my order was missing, wrong, and what I did get didn’t taste fresh at all. So sad, I was super excited for this new spot in my hood but they’re not doing enough things right. I even ordered EXTRA lettuce knowing their lettuce is notoriously pathetic, and I actually got no lettuce at all on my burger, even though I paid extra for it 🤦♀️
Lolz 3rd update! 4 stars now cuz I called and spoke to manager Roxy, and she was so perfectly understanding and helpful and thanked me a lot for letting her know about all of this, and said she’ll comp my next meal. Thank you Roxy!
Final update: Never returning, I’m volunteering to 86 myself. Placed an order on their app, paid ahead of time, had my receipt. They never made my order. They invited me to order and pay AGAIN even after showing my receipt, and verifying it’s the correct location. Never got my food nor my money back. Emailed corp bosses. No response, still no refund. Thanks a lot for stealing $15 from me Whataburger, and at a time I barely had any money to spend on...
Read moreI’m not sure why the service is so bad here, I love Whataburger, it is my favorite burger place and to have one so close to home was super exciting, unfortunately the service has been nothing but terrible since they opened by Littletown. The food is usually good 7 times out of 10 but currently I placed a curbside pick up that was scheduled for 7:45pm, I checked at 7:45 and waited… At 8pm as I’m parked I see all the employees cleaning & talking, I called their phone 2x to no answer as I seen them all standing and cleaning trays. I went in to ask about my order and everyone looked confused, I gave my name and curbside number and went back to wait. An employee came out and apologized stating the food had been ready but the computer didn’t show that I checked it. I said it’s fine I understand, she went back in and I waited another 5 minutes for my food that was supposedly done, a different girl brings out the my food minus the drinks. After another 10 minute wait and requests from 2 different employees that I was still waiting on my drinks, a different employee brought them out. This whole time the staff can see me and didn’t bother to ask if I needed anything. This place is a joke, got a salad no silverware was added, no napkins either. However this has happened many times before and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after this evening while watching their behaviors and the store not being busy. I feel like something needs to be said and their corporate needs to address this team with proper management...
Read moreThis was my first time, most likely my only time, at this Whataburger. The cashier was not too friendly (not unfriendly, but not invitingly friendly either), and the atmosphere just kinda seemed off. It didn’t say “come on in, order some delicious Whataburger, and sit down and enjoy your meal.” I got my meal to go… a plain triple Cheeseburger and a large fries. I got back to my room and the CHEESEburger had no cheese on it. None. Just three meat patties on a bun. Personally, if I was just going to have 3 burger patties and a bun… I wouldn’t have even gone to Whataburger and gotten anything. Who really wants a triple burger COMPLETELY plain. I asked for just cheese because I wanted to put spicy ketchup on the burger. I got 3 spicy ketchups in the bag… barely enough for just the fries. Speaking of fries, The fries seemed kind of thrown into the bag as they were laying on their side and dumped into the bag. Also, the large fries was filled to about the quantity of a medium or so. And, it cost me close to $15 for this experience. A burger… and fries… from Whataburger… $15!
I am pretty darn sure I will NOT be going back to this...
