This is a must for anyone traveling within a couple hours of the park. Warning: it’s hard to find parking, so go early or you’ll have to park in the city and take a tram the rest of the way. Once you’re in the park, you can drive one route and go through the tunnels (one lane at a time now) and see some great mountains. The balance of the park has to be explored by the trams running inside. There are 9 stops, and The Narrows is at stop 9. The bus/tram comes around every few minutes, but it’s often standing room only. The hiking is superb, and there are different paths depending on your skill level, as I’m sure you’ve read. My opinion: don’t do The Narrows without proper gear, including shoes which will get completely submerged, and walking stick(s). The rocks are slippery, and traversing the river without the equipment is not a good idea. Currently there is a land dispute at the top of the trail, so it can only be done from the bottom up, not the top down. Call to verify if it has been rectified if you have your heart set on top down. Angel’s Landing is wonderful, as long as you don’t have a fear of heights. You must hold on to a safety chain for stability. This area can be cool in the morning and get very hot during the day. Bring water, food and the right equipment. While there are snacks available at two spots, once you’re on the trails you’re on your own. That said, there are few places where you can be this adventurous without it...

Read moreMy absolute favorite place to be! Been here many times, beautiful scenery. Wildlife, Resteraunts, shopping, great hotel's, not to mention they're affordable. A lot of hiking trails. Once you're there, you park your car. Don't have to drive, as there's a Shuttle that picks you up, every few minutes. There's beautiful lakes, museum, art gallery. There's also cabins, you can rent as well. The weather is beautiful as well. It does get chilly at night. It does snow, Summer time, tends to get warm. This is absolutely, one of the most majestic National Parks, I've been too. Tons of greenery, if you love being in Nature, than this place is...
