One of the worst dining experiences I have had and to be avoided. Over 3 days most of the menu was unavailable due to them being out of things. When asked if they normally have the yogurt parfait (priced over 7 dollars) no employee could remember the last time they had it. The wait for food was incredibly long both in a line that throughout the day moved slowly and was outside the door, but also inside waiting after you got your food. Noticed the only times the line got short there was a woman working the register instead of a gentleman who was there most of the time who has no business being employed at this establishment. He wore his mask around his chin and when an older gentleman asked him if he could pull it up yelled at the gentleman. When a manager came back to talk to him he put the mask up for three second and before the manager even left the building pulled it back down. Throughout the rest of our stay we continued to watch him not abide by the mandate for masks in parks and mouth back to guests and coworkers while we ate our food from outside the park on the patio there. I would recommend doing anything you can to avoid this place. The restaurant in the actual lodge upstairs was quite good and not to be confused...

Of the two places to eat in the park, this is the lesser priced one. I'm not a picky eater but if I had to do it over again, I would have gone out of the park. We both ordered a ham and cheese sammy and I made mine a meal that included fries and a drink.

I went to unwrap the sandwich and noticed the date on the top was four days ago. Surely it wasn't made four days ago and sat in the cooler. Yes, it was and it did. The bread, lettuce and tomato looked like it sat somewhere for four days. What a ripoff to spend eight bucks for a four day old sandwich! The fries were cooked very nicely but then loaded down with so much seasoning salt, they were overwhelmed. I was tired from a hike and should have complained but I didn't feel like it.

The staff was nice but that's the only good thing I could say about the place. They have a captive audience if you're hungry and...

If you haven't brought in your own lunch for your visit to Zion National Park, or if you get hungry, the Cafe is a good option. You can sit on the outdoor patio, on the grassy area in front of the lodge, or even in the rocking chairs on the lodge porch. The service was exceptionally quick at the peak of lunch time - within a minute of ordering, a staff member had our slice of pizza, sandwich, and parfait ready for us to pick up. Downsides are that the food is somewhat overpriced, and if you go at a slower time the food might not be quite as fresh (e.g., a sandwich made in advance or pizza sitting in a warmer). All in all though, not bad for a quick service restaurant in a...

Not sure exactly what I was expecting when I saw that food costs were relatively "inexpensive", but it ended up sucking. Probably because national parks have to serve burgers medium well and probably because it was a fast food equivalent. The service at a regular fast food restaurant is probably better, and your food comes out hot... The saving grace was a cold beer and a nice patio after a long hike. That part was appreciated every day... The outside bartender was a nice guy and seemed to be in better spirits... If only his IPA had been of normal strength. Womp womp.

Disgusting food. Breakfast sandwich came with a biscuit far smaller than its contents. I tried to explain the problem to the manager, who said there's nothing he can do because Corporate doesn't care about customer feedback. I tried to eat it anyway. It's about a tenth of the quality you'd get from a McDonald's. Just nasty. The coffee is gross too. NPS needs to allow some competition to open up nearby, and drive this place out of business. Do yourself a favor, and go hungry. If the Red Rock Grill is open, they should be preferred.
