It's always beautiful to visit Slide Rock and, of course, Sedona. We got to visit the shops, made some purchases, had some ice cream and lemonade. There was, however, one store owner that was very rude. We we're dressed for slide Rock. However, when we we're waiting in our vehicle, it started to pour rain. So we decided to go the next day and go visit the shops. We would get a hotel for the night and go out to dinner later. We walked into this gem and jewelry store, and the man said we don't have anything here you could afford! Bags in hand from several retailers. My granddaughters got scared and said they would wait outside. I perceived to look around, and when I asked to try something on, he said, "You need to leave." I said,'You don't know what I can or can't afford. You do notice I didn't ask for the price?" It's people like him who give Sedona a...

Canyons are always awe-inspiring, and it’s remarkable to think how nature has shaped and preserved them over time for us to experience today. This beautiful red rock canyon is no exception, with green accents adding contrast to the dramatic landscape. Though I didn’t visit in the early morning, I imagine that would be an ideal time for birding. The bridge connecting Sedona and Oak Creek Trail is especially breathtaking, a short span, but perfectly positioned to take in the views. It also serves as a convenient access point for several excellent hiking trails, including the Huckaby Trail and Wilson Mountain Trail, both offering stunning vistas and immersive nature experiences. A scenic spot well...

We were driving along Highway 89A and unexpectedly found ourselves winding through Oak Creek Canyon—and wow, what a stunning drive!

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with dramatic red rock cliffs, lush greenery, and the creek weaving alongside the road. As someone who loves nature, I instantly felt drawn to the landscape. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to pull over at every turn just to soak it all in.

I wish I had planned more time to actually stop and explore the area—there seemed to be so many trails, lookout points, and hidden gems along the way. It’s definitely going on my list for a longer visit next time. If you’re into natural beauty, this is a...

Part 2 of my favorite scenic drives in the US! Oak Creek Canyon is an amazing drive that connects Flagstaff, Arizona with Sedona. If you have driven this narrow road before, you know just how beautiful this drive is! Million Dollar Highway in Colorado cannot be missed! This drive features massive mountain views and the entire route is so picturesque! My video clip here doesn’t really capture the parts of the road that are high in the mountains - I’m usually too busy looking at the views to record a video! Plus, there’s no guardrails, so I am on the edge of my seat 🫣 North Cascades Highway (SR 20) through Washington is absolutely spectacular. This road winds through northern Washington with amazing Mountain views. Don’t forget to stop at the Cascadian Farm location for fresh berries and delicious ice cream. It’s a mandatory stop! follow for more hiking, travel and outdoors content 🤍🏔🥾 . . . . . #roadtripper #scenicdrives #roadtripping #roadtripusa #usaroadtrip #roadtrips #hikersofinstagram #hikers
