It's always beautiful to visit Slide Rock and, of course, Sedona. We got to visit the shops, made some purchases, had some ice cream and lemonade. There was, however, one store owner that was very rude. We we're dressed for slide Rock. However, when we we're waiting in our vehicle, it started to pour rain. So we decided to go the next day and go visit the shops. We would get a hotel for the night and go out to dinner later. We walked into this gem and jewelry store, and the man said we don't have anything here you could afford! Bags in hand from several retailers. My granddaughters got scared and said they would wait outside. I perceived to look around, and when I asked to try something on, he said, "You need to leave." This beautiful red rock canyon is no exception, with green accents adding contrast to the dramatic landscape. Though I didn’t visit in the early morning, I imagine that would be an ideal time for birding. The bridge connecting Sedona and Oak Creek Trail is especially breathtaking, a short span, but perfectly positioned to take in the views. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with dramatic red rock cliffs, lush greenery, and the creek weaving alongside the road. As someone who loves nature, I instantly felt drawn to the landscape. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to pull over at every turn just to soak it all in.
