It's my neighborhood convenience store/gas station. I have lived her for over 10 years. On Sept 20, 2025, I tried to buy a frozen mocha for my wife. The female cashier charged me for a large and it was over $4.09 with tax. I questioned that the cup didn't look like a 32 oz and wasn't the price I saw on the machine. The cup clearly looked more like a medium or small and nowhere was the size clearly marked on the cup. The sign on the machine clearly showed the sizes, in ounces, and the price. I complained that this didn't seem like the correct price, and the cashier, after walking back to the machine and telling me not to follow her said that the prices marked on the machine were wrong, tore off the sign that was mounted to the machine, and insisted that I had to pay what she and the register said I owed. I walked out saying that it was a local and not a tourist and really didn't appreciate being ripped off. I did quickly return and asked for the manager, who was accommodating and allowed me to pay the correct price. I appreciate that manager made it 'right' for me, but frankly, does a customer really have to go through this stress and have to argue with a clerk? Does the clerk really have to remove the sign and insist on the wrong price instead of admitting she made a mistake? I get really upset at the apparent greed in rural areas seemingly to overcharge tourists. Apparently the clerk preferred to argue with a customer than make it right. Trust in this store is gone with me. If I buy anything else at this store, I will be sure to scrutinize the charges before paying. Perhaps the cups provided for the frozen coffee could have the size clearly marked on the cup to avoid customer and cashier confusion? Perhaps this employee could get a refresher on...

I then tried to explain that I have a right to safety while pumping DEF fluid ( very corrosive stuff) he was very unprofessional and I had to call the sheriff to even get clearance to leave because the manager Ron said he was calling them as well and he refused to give me my 500 dollar fuel receipt. I had to have my l company clear me to leave . What a disaster that place is . Gosh I hope pilot corporation does something to retrain Ron. Ron is a bully and really made problems for my day. Thanks Pilot ….the other staff there...
Read moreI don’t exactly know what’s going on there but when you go to a gas station that has a TON of business (apparently they’re short changed which makes NO sense) and buy something that is $3.38 and unfortunately are 10 cents short of “exact change” so you hand them $4 and they ask you if you want your 62 cents like I’m breaking their bank is a PROBLEM!! I’ve gone there a lot and that place is going downhill FAST!!! I NEVER get good service at Yardley’s no matter when I go-always waiting for a long time whether it’s to give my order or waiting on my food. I don’t understand how a place that does so much business can get away with the things they’re getting away with!! Treating the locals like trash...
