The complaints about this bowling center are ridiculous. First the staff. Most are young people who do not know a thing about the bowling business. So, why are they there? The simple answer is there very few people in the area who know anything about bowling. The center hires who they can and these young people are just looking for work. Mostly all Native Americans. I don't ever remember seeing people from other races working there. So, who can fix the staff issue? I don't know which department within the casino is in charge of the lanes. That is a problem. Again, who ever it is, is not an expert in bowling operations. This needs to change no matter what race inherits the job of making the center a smooth operating part of the casino that is service oriented.
I always found the young people working there to be helpful in most cases. From the mechanics in the back to the people behind the desk, it was a pretty good interactions most days. During my many years of working in a number of bowling centers in Ohio and California, the managers always stressed that employees were to be professional with the public. No excuses.
Lane conditions. The center was always clean when I was there. However at times, there were not enough employees there to clean up the large number of drink glasses and and paper plates food came on.
Hours. A couple of the complaints were right about the hours. Never should customers drive 30 minutes based on what they read on the casino website and when they get there, the place is closed. Why this would happen is beyond me. I guess it is the managers fault for this. This has happened to me also. A great way for a business to go broke.
I will conclude with this. I am giving this center a low four score due to the issues I mention in my post. They could do much better if they had a leader who would...
Read moreWe come here every other weekend. The young adults that work here are always helpful and pleasant.
I find some of these complaints harsh.
It’s a family friendly place to bring your kids and friends to bowl. They have a bar, an arcade, a photo booth, a snack bar, clean restrooms, TVs they will change the game to for you, not to mention AWESOME promotions. Not once have I had the experience where I thought “ew this place is dirty.” I’m pretty sure they just input brand new carpet as well as some other upgrades around the alley. Sure the lanes are finicky sometimes, but staff is always quick to help.
Calling in before you go can mitigate improperly posted hours online.
All around great place, we love...
Read moreWe went bowling twice. the first time was okay but the second time was not fun. The balls just kept getting stuck and wouldn't return, we even switched lanes and that lane had that problem aswell. When we asked for bumpers (which they gave us the day before) we where told that bumpers were for 5 and younger. They said that older people are throwing to hard and they dont want to get the bumpers damaged which I understand but when we informed the employee that we throw softly. she said that doesn't matter. Which made it harder to enjoy bowling for us who are not...
