This is a hidden gem. It can be tough to find, but well worth the visit. They have huge selection of spices. The smell as you walk in is amazing. In addition to spices, they have local honey, local jams/jellies and well as a great selection of hot sauces. In the adjacent room they have cook books plus locally published books about the region. Lots of antiques hanging on the walls, too. Located on the west side of the I-19 access road just south of the Tumacacori Mission. There is plenty of parking, too.

Just passing through and found this spot. Immediately when walking up, he could smell the aroma of chili's and spices. Upon entering, there is a huge selection of spices available for everything. I almost picked up an Italian seasoning to make a dressing. I tried a few of their salsas on display and really liked the mild picante and hot green sauce. Definately a good spot for local spices, chilies, jellies, and of course salsa!

Great place to visit. If you are looking for an out of the ordinary spice, this is the perfect place to go. For example, the staff understands the difference between Spanish and Hungarian paprika. My favorite spice mix is their blackening seasoning, delicious on salmon and chicken or veggies. Oh one more thing, lots of books (both for adult and children) about the local history and wildlife.

This is a must see. 100s of spices are available fresh and reasonable. The chili paste and powder are grown and processed on their own farm and delicious. Their selection of sauces are yummy, from mild to spicy and they offer samples to try. There is a selection of books from nonfiction to fiction, cowboy story tellers to history to children's books. They have an amazing array of cookbooks. Majority of books are by local writers. There was a mini museum about the family and area. Spent at least an hour and still feel...

I've been going to here for 30+ years. Just walking in the door is a delightful experience - the scent of so many spices is pure heaven. I love being able to get ground or whole spices, always fresh (compared to bottled spices), and they have things like cardamom and curry! Their mixtures are also quite tasty - after trying their chorizo mix, I'm always a bit disappointed at restaurants, LOL. They also have a nice selection of jams and sauces. Shopping here is a great way to explore the...
