Hi, I had been at my apartment all day and wanted to enjoy some evening entertainment. I looked at several places but Sonny's was closer. I had seen a mix of reviews some good & some bad, and I decided to try my luck. I got there & this guy Cody at the door, greeted me very nicely & shook my hand. I told him it was my first time here since I'm originally from California. We walked inside & Cody was very professional and showed me the place. Cody was very polite & took the time to show me around. I liked it, it was very clean & very nice actually. I told him about the bad reviews I had seen about Sonny's, and he told me that some times people that provide those bad reviews are drunk & they have to be escorted out & they get mad & provide bad reviews. While I was watching the non-stop show the ladies for the most part looked very nice and very athletic and very few looked just normal with natural beauty as well like the athletic type. They all danced very professionally & handled the pole with grace & dexterity. I was impressed, especially by Brook who was a master at the pole and danced very professionally like someone from Circ Du Solei, and she was very sweet & very nice, and she came to talk to me and she appreciated the positive comments I gave her. I congratulated her for such a beautiful & magnificent dance and for her ability at the pole. Other ladies came to say hi like Sharla & believe it was Sheila & other names I can't remember. But all & all, I had a great time. Before I left I stopped at the door & thanked Cody, he shook my hand and asked me if I enjoyed myself and if I had a good time. I told him yes, I did. And I told him about the bad reviews I had seen, and there was nothing even close to those bad reviews. The majority of the ladies were very beautiful, looked very good, smile and several of them came to me to say hi and introduced themselves. I noticed that the great majority of them were in very good shape. All and all I enjoyed the place & Cody suggested to leave a comment since my experience was very positive. The waitress never brought me the water I asked for it (twice), but I wasn't that thirsty anyway and that was not a big deal to me since I was enjoying the show. To me one of the best dancers was Brook and she was very nice, polite and sweet. I definitely recommend this place to gentlemen who want to go to a classy place, enjoy themselves & have a good time.

Review from September. These guys are and continue to be awesome. they make me feel like a VIP. I come in and several times they don't let me pay at the entrance. And I'm very grateful about that. I highly recommend this place for honest, and wonderful entertainment. This place is just awesome. And thank you for always making me feel like a VIP. I greatly appreciate that, Sonny's an awesome place and I"m very impressed how how well they have treated me and I'm sure they treat people like that every day, and every night. If you are looking for a nice place for entertainment while in Arizona, look no more. Sonny's is...
Read moreI would give it 5 stars, except that I went with my service dog (on an unpopulated Monday night), and was promptly asked to leave by the manager, Mark (after the doorman didnât know what to make of us). I inquired as to how they applied ADA laws, as my dog and I have even been approved by the FAA to fly aboard commercial aircraft (AND provided my FAA form), and was told that my dog needed to be wearing a bright âservice dogâ vest (which can be crafted or purchased in infinite ways). In case you didnât know, ADA law asserts that service dogs do NOT need to be clearly labeled as such, and is something of a HIPAA violation to do so.
The ownerâs name is Jim, apparently, and I guess he couldnât be contacted, so I was begrudgingly granted a seat in the back, which is all I ever asked for. I ordered and paid for 3 drinks at the bar (thanks, bartender Matt!) plus gratuity, of course. A couple of dancers AND a couple of fellow patrons came over to greet me and my super-sweet dog. The dancers were really lovely women, Jade and Minx, I believe. They assured me that they felt zero threat. Apparently, theyâre âindependent contractorsâ, as explained by management. PLEASE tip them very well when/if you attend!
Apparently, the admittance issue arose from a previous patron (or patrons) who had brought in NON-service dogs, under the guise of being legit service dogs. I have to imagine that the law has been exploited before, as it has in air traffic, but that doesnât set a precedent to ignore ADA laws.
As a heterosexual woman patronizing a so-called âgentlemanâs clubâ, I would have expected to be treated rather well instead of as an imposition. I have literally never fought so hard to be seen & included in any venue before. When I was able to eventually order a drink and sit down, I had fine time. I tipped a couple of the beautiful dancers nicely before I left (especially since theyâre independent contractors).
Iâll likely returnâŚ.and hope that I donât encounter the same discrimination. đ¤ I even suggested to management that they really shouldnât ignore their female clientele (with or without a service dog). Thatâs some serious cash without sketchy games. Last I checked, businesses were in the business of making money. Weâll see what happens next time!
**UPDATE: I returned a couple of days later with my adult daughter (and my service dog). Josh was the doorman and Clay was the manager that night. I experienced none of the weird vibes from my first visit....
Read moreToday was the day to finally get out and have some fun! I divorced over the summer, and had not been in a gentleman's club since the late 90's. I read the reviews, some great, some not so great, but I try not to let the negative stuff outweigh my enthusiasm once I make a decision. So, heart beating like a racehorse I pointed the car to Chandler. The first thing I noticed once my GPS got me there was plenty of parking... You could park a 747 out here and not get a door ding. Made my way into the club and I met the famous Cody. He shook my hand and checked me in. At that point I let him know it had been a while since I'd been in a club like this, and he was very happy to show me the whats and wheres, gave me a rundown on how the place worked and pointed out the bar. #1, of all of the clubs I've been in up until this point, I have to say that the drink prices were the most reasonable I've seen. I sat down next to the stage with my drink, and fell completely in love with each girl that was onstage, as well as the ones that approached me. They were all, to a fault, beautiful, engaging, seemed genuinely interested in the customers, and were happy to give a further explanation on how things worked and what to expect. I don't remember now if her name was Marie, or Maria, but she gave my ego a boost that it hasn't seen in years. Even before going into a VIP session I already felt like one. Bravo folks. I'll be back, and thank you for helping make my return to the living an extremely...
