The Hub — Local services in Four Corners States

I moved to the White Mountains about 4 months ago, and shortly after moving, I stopped by The Hub to look around and perhaps purchase a pistol in what I thought would be a one-time transaction. Looking back over the past four months, because The Hub has so much more to offer than your typical gun store, I've been there at minimum once a week, every week since.

The people who work at The Hub are what really sets them apart from their competitors; everyone I've encountered has been extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to answer all of the questions I have whether I'm just looking around in the store, at the range, or taking a training class.

Because of these uncertain times we live in, I wanted to improve my gun skills and have taken multiple training classes (both private and small group) with Paul Parks @ The Hub, and I intend to continue to do so. Paul's ability to pass along his wealth of knowledge while helping me improve my own skills and knowledge has been priceless. After hearing me talk about how much I enjoyed my training with Paul, my wife wanted to take the Handgun 101 class with Paul. My wife enjoyed her private Handgun 101 class with Paul and is looking forward to furthering her training.

The fact that The Hub - Lakeside has a large indoor range complements the training that Paul is able to provide by allowing people to practice on their own time. I've also thoroughly enjoyed testing the assortment of rentable weapons The Hub has to offer while always learning something during my conversations with Casey, who normally mans the range.

Unlike the big box gun stores, everyone working behind the gun counter is extremely knowledgable and always takes the time to understand what I'm looking for before making a recommendation. I can't say enough good things about Caleb; his passion for what he does, willingness to help, along with his depth of knowledge come thru during every conversation I've had with him. Last but not least, you may say, hey, I don't care about personalized service, I'm just looking to buy a gun at the best price and go on my way; if so, The Hub's got you covered too. After purchasing my last few guns from The Hub, I did some after the fact price shopping; in EVERY SINGLE CASE, The Hub's prices were extremely competitive, both with the online and big box stores. In fact, I saw the M18 I bought for my wife priced nearly $250 more at a big box store a couple of miles down the road; it says a lot about the people and management of The Hub that with the recent run on guns, they have not jacked up their prices, even on hard to get guns, just because they could.

Best gun shop and pawn shop I've ever been too! I cannot express how amazing this store and staff are!!! Everytime I walk thru the door they greet me by name! I've witnessed them do this with several other customers as well. It feels like family whenever I enter this place and I know the expert knowledge and exceptional customer service skills will not disappoint! Steve-O (he is the self proclaimed handsome bearded Steve) is absolutely an awesome guy and knows his stuff. He has sold me 3 of my guns and answered countless questions. Super Amazing guy! Emilee is the Manager and she is bar none just a wonderful person and guru at the shop. She always takes care of anything needed without any issue. Tony one of the RSO'S was knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions and is just a great guy. David is one of the instructors and I'm going to sign up with him for some lessons as he has always been kind and spot on in his mini recommendations in passing thru. The other staff members are exceptional as well. I warmly refer to them now as my Firearm Family!

The store is immaculate and has so many different things to look at. The selection on ammo and firearms are vast and the knowledge behind the counter even better. The range is a 10/10 in cleanliness, usability, fun, and safety, this is by far the best range I've ever shot.

As for the pawn shop portion of the store. Super Amazing, beautifully kept things for sale! Guitars that are really true gems, amps and PA systems that are booming! TVs electronics and more all for amazing prices! Laptops, computer and video games all well priced and in great condition. Let's talk Tim the Tool Man Taylor with the best selection of construction equipment and power tools on the planet! You literally could spend half a day here and not see it all.

This place is AMAZING! Pawn shops are so well known for being less than ethical. During a 6 month period of unemployment, we found ourselves in need of just such a place. We have several guns that I inherited from my grandfather and they mean the world to me. We also "pawned" my engagement ring. From the first person we talked to (either Mike or Michael), we felt welcome and understood. Mike was so kind in explaining how their pawn process works and assured me that they take inherited items especially seriously. I literally started crying as he made me feel like I could feel okay doing this. Six months of unemployment have taken a toll on our finances. We have since moved out of state for work and our things are still at the HUB. The manager, Frank, has been more than accommodating. With only 2 paychecks under our belt, it's extremely difficult to make the payments we need to make to keep our things, but Frank always works with us and we are so grateful to him and his staff. They are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. And take the time to walk around the whole store. They have an awesome selection of guns and all sorts of things you wouldn't even think of!
