Grew up here in the 80s. As kids we would try and catch the paper like streamers dropped by the Golden Knights, got in trouble for it too. There used to be a giant tree in the smaller park outside, south of the larger park. They must have cut it down as Google maps shows no safe shade area for the kids to play under. Officer Ricci and Officer Perez were absolutely fantastic during my recent encounter with them. I found myself stuck in a tricky situation with my vehicle, and they went above and beyond to assist me. They used their own bodies to push my car out, showing incredible dedication and determination to help. Their professionalism and kindness were evident throughout the entire experience. This event was not well planned for facilitating seniors and the handicapped. 11/2 to 2 hour waiting time on soft dirt to enter transport buses. Handicapped electric cars needed to be pushed through sand by waiting seniors in line! No bathrooms available during long wait in line.

Event itself was fun. Dog show and onstage talent were excellent. Pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Meat was tender and flavorful. I like the YPG 2020 cap...
