I had a package which I paid shipping on which was supposed to be delivered to a specific address 4 days ago. The package was then re-routed to my new home address because my name was on it and the mail is being forwarded there, etc. totally fine. I received a notice in the mail saying it can’t be delivered because I would need to pay $4 and change. So I decide to pick it up from this location. It was an important package for a family member and they needed asap.
So I arrive at this location about 45 minutes till they close. I am informed the package was still with the courier. I asked them politely to call me when it gets back. Within 10 minutes it was there. I go to pick it up and am informed I now need to pay an additional $10 to take the package. I politely asked why the price difference and why I would need to pay when I’ve already paid shipping. The gentleman that was helping me grabbed a lady from the back who I assume was some sort of manager.
She proceeds to rather rudely tell me it’s my fault I need to pay because I should’ve used someone else’s name so it wouldn’t be forwarded, etc. which was fine and I said as such and said I would like to just pay whatever it is and go.
It seems to me this woman could sense I was a little frustrated with the entire experience and decided she wanted to antagonize me even though I just wanted to leave and already agreed to pay the $10 amount even though I didn’t think I should because I just didn’t want there to be any problems.
As I am paying the manager continuously barks at me in an aggressive tone about how the package wasn’t shipped correctly, etc. Like I said I just wanted to leave. I said, “Thank you mam, we have this all figured out. You can leave if you want.”
The woman begins to scream and berate me about how she doesn’t want her employees attacked (even though I never did and made sure they understood any frustration I had was not there fault) and continuously antagonized me trying to bring out a reaction I did not provide other than remarking that she was obviously “crazy”. She even continued to yell insults at me as I hurried out of the building.
Now I don’t usually make reviews and such, but this experience was like no other. This woman should not be working for your location here. I was very uncomfortable and would never come back although my choices are limited as this is a...
Read moreFirst of all, i don't even think my local post office is in the business of servicing customers. Seen several post office and have to say this Highlands Ranch, Colorado post office in University blvd is the worst. They treat customer with no respect and they have no service in mind. The mail delivery person from this location is the laziest person. She makes no effort to do her job. She took the mail in my mail box because the parcel wouldn't fit in the mail box. She says the parcel locker was full with other customers stuff, so she could't use the parcel locker. And she is not obligated to bring the parcel to front door. Not sure how its fair, because the parcel locker is full with other customer stuff and the mail lady does not want to bring the parcel to my front door, I have to make a trip to post office to collect the parcel. Then what's the use to order online? You can make a trip to the store rather than making a trip to the post office. I talked to the retailer and they agreed and refunded me for the parcel. She refused to deliver mail for 10 days until i went to postoffice and get the parcel. Tried talking to her to reason with her but she wouldn’t care, complained to her supervisor and several customer care reps with requesting the mail delivered as it was not my fault the parcel wouldn't fit in the mail box and she has no rights to refuse service. I told them to send the package back as the retailer resolved my issue and all i need is the regular mail delivered. But no one is willing to make it right, all they want to do is pass it on to the next person. The supervisor was telling me that he doesn't report to anyone and doesn't really care or want to correct the mail delivery person behavior or service even though he admitted it is her fault. I have seen this mail lady go along her truck with another lady following her in the car and always chit chatting with that lady while she put the mails in the box. Also, she smell like cigarette and never seen her wearing her uniform or name badge. I have been in several cities in united states but this city postal service...
Read moreForget rain, sleet, or grumpy couriers – the real heroes of postal service wear name tags and smiles! Sure, the USPS might not be galloping through blizzards like Paul Revere anymore, but who needs mythical steeds when you've got rockstar customer service reps like the ones at this location?
I confess, I walked in with the usual "USPS blues," ready to unleash a grumpy aria about missing packages and mysterious delivery schedules. But guess what? These amazing humans melted my postal pessimism faster than a snowman in July!
Twice in a week, I was met with genuine smiles, helpfulness that sparkled brighter than a priority stamp, and a can-do attitude that would put Energizer Bunny to shame. It's no secret that most folks enter a post office with a scowl and a sigh, but these folks? They deflect negativity like a superhero deflects laser beams!
Seriously, they deserve a raise, a lifetime supply of stress balls (because let's be real, dealing with frustrated customers is no picnic), and maybe even a starring role in a heartwarming USPS commercial. So, if you're looking for a reason to believe in the postal service again, skip the wishing well and head straight to this location. You might just leave with a smile, a helpful solution, and a newfound appreciation for the unsung heroes behind the counter. ‍
Remember, a little kindness can go a long way so give them a break. If you don't, they will probably still be super...
