The shipping department is staffed entirely by incompetent clowns. Checked in at 11am they said the product was being packed and would be ready “at 5pm”. I asked how much of the product was currently ready and they said they haven’t even started. At 430, I went to get an update and they said it would be ready “after 5pm”. I asked if that meant 5:01, or three weeks from now, what does “after 5pm” mean? He said they just didn’t know when it would be ready. At 6pm, when I started demanding an explanation for the delay we discovered they had the wrong info for my order. They thought I was waiting for 20 pallets, I only need 10. Got that resolved and was put right into a door. Then the little boy who claimed to be the “manager” says I need to get my trailer washed out - the trailer I just had washed out two days ago before I did a 34 hour restart. Lost my temper with him. Go get the trailer washout, come back, get straight into a door again and then every single loader all go to lunch at the same time for 45 minutes while there are 26 trucks waiting plus a truck in all 6 loading doors. Finally get them to start loading the product and instead of loading single-double-single like I told the loader, he starts loading sideways doubles right away. Told him the customer won’t accept it like that, he has to load it like the dispatcher’s instructions say. After arguing with me about it, finally got upset and fixed it. Even their food truck gave me diarrhea. Can’t think of a single good thing to say about this place or the people who work...
Read moreHad a very bad experience last night 1/14/22. Checked in at 10am for a first come first served. Was told load wouldn’t be ready till 8:30pm. I as told to park at nearest truck stop a mile away. I called at 8:45 and was told would be now 9:30. At 9:15 called for door 16. I arrived and parked at 9:30. They explained it would be loaded sideways for 20 pallets with a diagram. I explained that will cause issues. They didn’t care. Left at midnight. Scaled out and was overweight on drives. Went back. I explained they needed to load it single double single and then double chimney block rest of the way. They said going to Michigan it has to be sideways. I said it didn’t but they claimed to know better. They worked the whole trailer and of course did it their way. Left to go get scaled and of course I was overweight on the drives again. I went back and talked to them. They acted like they had no clue what they were doing or what they were going to do. I told them if they loaded it the way I said I’d be out of their on my first trip. So they reworked the trailer again and of course loaded it their way again. Thankfully finally scaled out decent at 5am. 5 hours a waste of my time. These people need to listen to the drivers. I pray to never have to go back because next time I’m liable to say something wrong and be banned. Probably be...
Read moreParked, checked in with Mary, got a door immediately and was loaded in same amount of time. Was directed to another door to complete the load, but got a call saying that one pu# i submitted was not on their manifest, and if they did load it I'd be overweight. What? What shipper gives you that kind of heads up? Mary said I had to come back to office to figure it out. The door for 2nd part of load was a couple hundred yards away, and told Mary it would take me a little time as I have COPD and it was hot. Started walking when Mary pulled up in a golf cart to help take me back to the shipping office. Once the issue was resolved and paperwork in hand, Mary gave me a ride back to my truck to, again, save me from walking with COPD. In and out in less than 2 hours with gold-plated service. Mary saved me from what would have been a brutal walk and all there, from the shipping staff to the loaders,...
