Had an appointment on 8/7/24 at 2:30pm I let the gentleman who was doing my nails know I had a special occasion tomorrow and I really needed my nails to look nice. To ensure I was clear in what I wanted and we were on the same page I provided pictures of the shape I wanted and picked out my color. I was going for the trending chocolate glazed donut it’s a brown with white chrome. When he was done with the brown and top coat he got up like he was finished and I was confused and said can I not do the chrome ? He went and got the powder and put it on and I was like it’s pink ? I said it wasn’t suppose to be pink Chrome. He didn’t say much other than it was because I picked brown to go under it. At this point I was uncomfortable because I tried saying something nicely and it seemed to be ignored so then once they all had chrome and a top coat I noticed it looked super chunky I said something to him and he kind of laughed and did another top coat which only made them look more sloppy and thick. I felt ignored and didn’t ask him blatantly to fix them before leaving because they clearly looked horrible and I felt like if he didn’t see that then he wouldn’t be able to fix them. If you care about your reputation and your clients you don’t let them walk out of the door looking a mess. I was in shambles because like I told him I have something very important the next day. So I scrambled around trying to find a salon to fix them and found the nicest best place I’ve ever been to and they were absolutely appalled at the job famous nails did. They said if anyone left out of their shop like that they’d be getting a refund and the tech would get more training. When she was filing the gel off my nails that I paid $90 for 3 hours prior she was so shocked IT WAS STILL WET and gummy under the top coat. Probably because he did at-least 6 coats of polish on my nails. She also said they were all uneven which I also noticed once I left and said she couldn’t really fix that or they would be too short. So not only did famous nails let me walk out with terrible nails that the salon I had fix them said were the worst they’d ever seen, but because when I tried saying something and he didn’t seem willing to fix them I had to drive all the way to another salon and pay another $50 to have them reshaped and repolished.. i hope i can get my money back I don’t want famous nails to fix them because of how uncomfortable my experience was that’s why I went somewhere else. I would even be willing to only have some of it back to pay for the products that were used because I understand how hard times are for businesses. But this was just...
Read moreMy god, this place is ridiculous. I was a walk-in. I came in at 5:30pm. Now yes, that may be considered late but I had just gotten off work at 5pm. When I first walked in, there was a girl that came in right before me. She was greeted and asked what service she wanted as she was signing in. When I walked in and did the same thing, they just stared at me and ignored my existence. Okay, fine. Whatever. Then, minutes later, a mother and daughter (I’m guessing) came in after me and they were greeted. So now, I’m getting a little suspicious. Next, a couple walked in after them, and they were greeted as well. So, I continue to sit there waiting for them to call me up so I can get a pedicure, oh and not a complicated pedicure, just a simple, one color, gel pedicure. So the girl that came before me is called up, and of course I assume that they’re going to call me next because that’s the order that we came in. NOPE. They took the mother and daughter that came after me and then they asked the girl from the couple what service she wanted, like she was going to be next. MIND YOU, they haven’t even said one word to me for the whole HOUR I was sitting there. So finally, I decided to not only leave and go to another place the next day (because since I waited so long for them the other places were about to close and there was no chance I would’ve made it in time), but also to never, EVER go there again. They clearly have their favorites and I’m not going to put...
Read moreI had a terrible first experience with this nail shop hopefully the entire shop isn’t as inexperienced as the person who had done my nails. I paid almost 70 dollars for a long coffin set that had a terrible shape and broke easily.Within a week of getting my nails done two nails broke and when I went back to get them repaired and complained to the person who did my nails he responded by saying it was because they were so long and that had absolutely nothing to do with it the acrylic was so thin I literally broke my nail putting a sheet on my bed. While getting my two nails repaired the man was very aggressive and rushing because he wanted to get done so he could get a customer who needed a full set so instead of letting my acrylic dry he insisted on filing and ruined the nail and instead of starting over he filed the nail down to be way shorter than the others. I know y’all are wondering why I didn’t say anything but I was just so fed up that I just decided to take that L and leave but anyways fast forward to the day after getting the repair I broke three DIFFERENT nails and I currently have cracks in the sides of two more. In conclusion this is the worst full set I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had many and I wasted my money and I refuse to ever go back to this nail shop. P.S. if you were wondering who did my nails it’s the man who sits closest to the sinks...
