I go here faithfully and I adore the owner. However I always feel so anxious when I see the Asian woman at the counter because she’s consistently rude, and if you ask her a question she’s always rude n abrupt on her response, unless the owner is near her. The last time I was there she was nasty again n the owner did come n try to rectify the situation but he tried to explain her attitude as if she was not rude. Idk if that is his wife or family member but her attitude is DISRESPECTFUL and Disgusting. That visit will be my last. I hate when business owners don’t understand that you are spending your hard earned money that you worked hard for. I feel like she doesn’t care for Black Women. Out of ten plus visits she’s consistently rude. She needs training on being respectful or she should stick in the back. I’ve been going to this beauty supply store since they opened and I convinced my friend to shop here went with her to buy hair the OWNER convinced her she would need an extra bundle (which she didn’t open touch or use) and told her she could always just return it if she didn’t need it. After spending WELL OVER $200 she returned to the store THE NEXT DAY only 24 hours after she purchased and had the hair for him to then tell her she CANT return it and he would give her store credit. This supply store has all of your ethnic hair supply needs. But this review is really about the customer service. The owners or managers of this establishment are very respectful and helpful. I actually decided a few years back to no longer buy supplies from Korean hair supply stores because of what I felt and saw as blatant racism. It was clear they wanted your $$ and nothing else. Even the look of disdain was palpable. I have NEVER felt this here. Once I asked about a product, the manager told me they didn't have the product but told me when he would have it. He even one step further to suggest an equivalent. I was pleasantly surprised. I just really like this spot....
