Summerfield Liquors & Bar — Local services in Franklin Township

Pretty shady sales tactics at this place. Drove 30 minutes to get there because they had a decent selection on their website at reasonable prices. When I got there, the same bottles I was interested in were marked up massively from what they had advertised. I told the clerk that the sticker on the bottle is not what they advertised, and he refused to honor the price…got on the phone with his “manager” and said the best he could do was knock off a few bucks but the price would still be 50% over what they had on their website. He said the website was wrong…well that’s not my fault and your store should honor what it advertised. I left without the bottle and by the time I got home, they took down their website…probably to update it with the jacked up markups they had on all the stickers in the store. This place has been open for over a month, how do you have “wrong prices” up there...

I was disappointed to learn that you cannot cash or receive credit for winning lottery tickets here. I have been purchasing them here a few times a week since the store opened. When I tried to redeem a seven dollar winner they refused and informed me that they do not offer that service. I asked the sales person to check with the manager, who confirmed that this is the case. I was really looking forward for this store to open, and hoping for aisles and shelves of products floor to ceiling. However, I came to find out the bar is clearly the priority which basically takes all floor space. The store is very naked as a liquor store. I know nothing about this business, but was a bar the best choice for this location? I do wish them the best...
