If you do amazon only work flex. I worked here 3 years. They threw me out for resting on my 15 min break . Called it misconduct. Fired me on the spot. No write ups no warnings. So instead of wasting 3 years of your life hoping for a promotion or higher position. They all stick together. From the Hispanics. to the Indians . There is no room for growth . Pay is decent. Don't work here full time . Just use this as a source of income to find a government job or something with a union. Once they fire you. They fight your unemployment say it was misconduct. I thought that they would send me back, as happens in many Amazons. Guardian in entrance was very friendly. In 40-45 minutes later the shift manager called (I donāt know her name) and gave me the door. When I brought the papers to her, she treated me to the sweetness of candies, it was very impressive. I had a life unloading and asked her , how long it would take to unload since I had the next pickup in 4 hours and didnāt want to lose that load due to being late.?! She said that usually unloading takes 2-4 hours. she gave me a gift that day and they unloaded me in 2:45 hours. I am very grateful to this charming woman (unfortunately I didnāt ask her name). Unfortunately, he wasn't hired because he didn't know English. This was the 3rd rejection from Amazon, and he decided not to apply again. I believe once you train a worker that doesn't know the language that worker will do his work 10 times harder. Maybe you need to hire bilingual people to train these non English speakers that you already have as workers or any new comers non English. For me that's very discriminative.
