As I was exiting Aldi, I spotted a man pushing a cart who resembled a zombie hitting his vape pen. I then noticed he was wearing an Aldi shirt. While walking towards a piece of litter, specifically a box meant for a soda case, I thought to myself that he probably wouldnât bother picking it up. To my surprise, he walked right past the trash located in the parking lotâs pathway. I asked him, âExcuse me, are you going to pick that up?â in a confused tone, wondering why anyone would overlook such litter. He looked at me but continued on his way. I pressed further, asking if he was really going to just leave it there. His response was simply to tell me to âleave him alone.â
To clarify, youâre working for this company, strolling through the parking lot while hitting your vape pen, looking completely out of it, and ignoring the trash youâre passing by, and then telling a customer who comments on it to âleave you aloneâ?
I retorted, âNo, I won't leave you alone. I'm going to report your behavior to your manager,â and I went into the store, searching for an employee. After several minutes without success seeing empty registers in a pack store, I finally found someone, and to my surprise, that person turned out to be the manager.
I was told I wouldnât be given the general manager's contact information, and that if I didnât leave, the police would be called to remove me from the premises.
Unbelievable, and over 2 weeks later never have had a reply from management, yet I have a BBB reply that the district manager reached out, a...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit this store for the first time. It has only been open for a few months (writing this in July 2023), but everything seems 5o be in good order. The store is extremely clean. The employees seem genuinely friendly and are eager to assist customers. There are many types of bread, cheese, and fish not offered at local Ingles stores and more importantly the prices are LOW. A dozen name brand eggs at the Bryson Ingles are anywhere between $5.00 and $8.00 they are $1.11 at ALDI. Yoplait yogurt with fruit is .88 and at Ingles, it is more than $1.50. Small cans of the least expensive wet cat food is more than 1.25 each at Ingles and only .59 at ALDI. Chobani yogurt was .58, and a fresh loaf of artisan sourdough bread is only 4.19 and theyvare all more than 8.00 at Ingles. There is no reason not to shop at ALDI in Franklin NC if you are local unless you just don't mind paying ten times the average price on everything you shop for. After more than two decades living here, I understand prices in the Smoky's are higher for everything, but Ingles almost has a monopoly in the Smoky's and takes advantage of locals who are not all retired multi-millionaires. I am in no way connected with ALDI or any of...
Read moreThis joke of a store deserves 0 stars! I'm an Instacart shopper and I needed a simple return receipt to provide Instacart for an order I had to refund for the customer. The only cashier they had upfront, a young girl named Cameron, was EXTREMELY RUDE and belligerent and acted like it was an inconvenience for her to actually DO HER JOB and process the return! I'm not about to allow anybody to jeopardize MY money because their cashiers need training on how to speak to and deal with paying customers. Eventually the main store manager was able to print a return receipt for me, but if you're an Instacart shopper, DO NOT take any orders for this store! If there's an issue with the order, you will regret ever...
