A so-called Christian based establishment stealing from customers during Christmas time.
My Mom and I placed an order to go inside Chic-fil-a for supper and the order contained four orders of French fries and a grilled chicken sandwich. We received the order and took off to Highlands, almost an hour away, not checking the contents because other Chic-fil-a restaurants are very reliable. We got home and had only received 1 order of French fries. It was disappointing and frustrating but the real frustration came when we calmly and kindly went the next day to get a refund. We showed the manager the receipt and explained the mistake and his rectification is that he would give us the 3 French fry orders right then. We said no thank you but we would like a refund. The manager’s reply was that since it’s been 24 hours we cannot reimburse you. I told the gentleman that it had not been 24 hours and it was too far and too late to return the evening before. He said that the next day is considered 24 hours so he could not reimburse my Mom. I do not know where this manager went to school, but the next day is not considered 24 hours and stealing money from my 80 year old Mom who is on a strict budget at Christmas time is not very Christian minded for the billion dollar money making machine. If we chose to patronize a local fast food restaurant again, it will be Zaxby’s since their chicken sandwich and French fries are far...
Read moreChick-Fil-A is a good fast food resturant. The primary coice you have is chicken. Pattie, Strip, or nugget. All are breaded except the the grilled chicken and some of the breakfast items. This resturant is always busy during peek hours. They have a double drive thru which is nice. But at times they will close one of those lanes and try merging all trafic into one lane. Somehow they are like walmart with 27 registers but only 1 open. The indoor area is clean and well kept. All employees always go out of there way to provide great service. The food is hot and fresh to order. They strive to get you in and out quick but there is a back log of orders at times to slow things down. Largers orders are left to wait and sit while they try to move smaller orders behind you quicker and they wind up going around you in line. The one sticking point for me here is "Price". I'm sure there is a ecenomic or some mathmatical way to coming to their prices. But for me with a larger family I can't visit but maybe once a month if even that. I myself would like to see more deals or coupons for chick-fli-a but I know that price will not stop the almost cult like following of this...
Read moreWell now, I ain’t real sure what this place is called — “Chick Fill-A,” or somethin’ like that — but I’ll tell you what, they sure know their way around a chicken sandwich. I thought it was just some little hometown spot that popped up here in Franklin, but turns out it might be the fanciest place we got!
Walked in and everyone was grinnin’ like they’d known me my whole life. They said “my pleasure” every time I thanked ‘em — polite bunch of folks, I’ll give ‘em that. The food came out quick, hot, and honest-to-goodness delicious. That chicken’s got a crunch to it, like it’s proud of itself. Fries look like little waffles — didn’t know you could even make fries like that, but I ain’t complainin’.
The sweet tea? Tastes like summer in a cup. And that sauce they got… lawd, I don’t know what’s in it, but I’d dip just about anything in there.
I sure hope they keep this place around. Maybe even open another one over in Sylva or down toward Highlands. Franklin needed a spot like this — good people, good food, and a little taste of...
