My niece and I walked in the store at 1pm. There were two employees at the register, conversing with each other (Ken and a female without a name tag). We received no greeting. Their $25 iTunes gift cards were sold out. I asked them if they could sell me the $50 gift cards 15% off (gifts for my nieces visiting from Florida). She had no idea what I was talking about. I had to educate them on their own weekly sale. Ken directed me to the next closest store. I asked, "Should I call them to verify and not waste gas?" He ASSURED me they had them in stock. I asked for their number. He started looking for it then went back to chatting with nameless coworker. I asked again about the number. He told me that he did not have the number for that store. The next store ended up being sold out as well. And so was the next one after that.
I’m a military veteran in nursing school. I have three years’ experience working in retail as well. My dad is a Walmart store manager. My best friend is an AT&T store manager. I know customer service and #07789's employees lacked it. Unacceptable.
I hope this situation will be rectified so that the loyal customers of your store will have better experiences...
Read moreI stopped by this location in Magnolia Delaware yesterday while visiting from out of town, I walked in and was greeted by a young man at the counter. I then found what I was looking for and went to the register to pay. The young man told me that he could take me on the other side and when I walked over to the other side he then tells me that he is actually waiting for another customer to come back to check him out. There was nothing on the counter where it appeared to be a transaction in progress. Then a guy appears from the aisle and the cashier says “sorry”. I told him that he should have informed me that he was waiting for someone when I came up initially instead of telling me to come to the other side to take me at the other register, only to then take someone else who was shopping in the aisle. Very unprofessional, he should not haven been left in the store or at the front alone. Socially awkward and unable to communicate effectively with...
Read moreThe store is nice Lee remodeled since the old one, but it’s not very helpful. They’re missing stuff and you don’t really get any help and they don’t really know where anything else so you’re better off going to probably Bowers Beach the new Dollar General over there. They’re a little more nicer, helpful, friendly, and they know where things are I mean, who works in a store where they don’t know where nothing is and there’s only like two people when did you know where nothing was the other one was just totally...
