La Ortolana Pizza & Ristorante - Magnolia — Restaurant in Delaware

I understand it is New Years Eve. With that being said if you are out of something or claim to be out of something it needs to be communicated. I placed my order of two large pizzas one extra cheese the other extra cheese and pepperoni plus 30 wings at 8:08pm. My order just arrived at 9:25pm. The pizza is luke warm fine. However the wings are all drums minus 2. Plus they didnt send blue cheese either. Called and spoke to the manager. The manager asked for all the wings back. That would be fine two if we didn't already wait over an hour to eat. The manager said they would send out the blue cheese but they were out of wings.... This was a lie. I called back from another number and asked how much a cheese pizza and 20 wings would cost they gave the price and said if you cant be here in 10 mins dont order. Not that they were out. Just that we needed to be there before close. Again I also can see if we dont tip not wanting to but 10.00 for 4 miles and it was over 20%. I dont think that is the issue. I feel this was poor service and could have been avoided. Then to lie about it was unprofessional. Looks like we will be ordering somewhere else. Will be in tomorrow to personally speak to...

We usually have a good experience here. The pizza is always good and wings are descent. They also offer pretty fast delivery or you can always pick your order up. The staff is always nice and informative. The only problem I have is that their menu on line and in store are both wrong. The prices have went up a lot and the new prices are not listed anywhere so you have no idea what your total will Be. Some of the prices have nearly doubled and they don’t even tell you this when ordering. And this has been this way for a few months. I feel if they offer you a menu to look at they should have to honor those prices. But apparently they don’t share the same beliefs than me. We are a big family with a small budget so I really have to be aware of what I spend so i would be more apt to visit this location if they had their new prices listed somewhere…anywhere . But they don’t and that’s why I’m hesitant about visiting this location. Otherwise it’s good.

That’s my only real issue...

I got a delivery today. Cheese Steak, Chef Salad, Broccoli Bites. Delicious! My wife and I were happy, again, for our choice of meal. And the delivery person was friendly and prompt. More than 5 stars.

Update: Ordered the same as before this weekend. The delivery person was extremely nice and tipped her. The wife opened the chef salad and got everything, right? Where's the cucumbers? I called and told them they had forgotten the cucumbers. He was very apologetic. Hint: I still wanted the cucumbers for the chef salad. Waited a couple of seconds. Then I told the gentleman on the phone we (the wife and I) still love the food. (Extra mile hint) Have someone or yourself deliver what is owed regarding an order, wrong or missing, and help your Google ratings because people do read...
