Jade Garden — Restaurant in Frederica

Can't believe that a business would treat a customer in this manner, not once but multiple times.

Magnolia area friends: Sophia recently got a job and has gone, twice now, to Jade Garden on her lunch break. Last week they accused her of stealing her credit card even when she offered to show identification. They finally allowed her to pay and take her food after much questioning, making her late getting back to work. We kinda laughed it off at the time. She looks young.

She just called me, very upset. She went to get lunch and they ran her card 3 times. She showed the owner her bank app and he insisted it didn't go through, despite her showing him the charges. She called me, and I went in and he tried to tell me the same thing. He asked if he could run the card again and, after some hesitation I allowed him. It popped up on the screen "approved", but he, again, insisted it didn't go through. He then ran a report that showed that it did go through...each time. Only then did he agree to refund her money.

I'm so angry, I'm shaking. I feel like they tried to take advantage of her because she's young. We've given them business since they opened and I'm really mad. She shouldn't have had to call her mom to come. And he didn't even apologize. I think next time I want Chinese food, I'll be driving a little...

Amazing how all these places look the same, same food, same menu, same same. The usual galley type kitchen, with cashier window on the end, a little rough around the edges, like all the rest. I went with generic standard fare, sweet and sour pork. Food was a little over cooked, eggroll and pork coating tended to crumble with a fork, not bad enough to be a problem. Lots of pork in it, sauce and rice were fine. Pretty much I got what I expected. It was noon, I was only customer unless call in orders. They were quick, a 10 minute wait in my car. Staff was friendly and spoke 90% understandable english. I haven't eaten china food in a few years, was kinda surprised at the cost increase. Over $10 for a lunch I eat in my car seems a little pricey, so I can only justify 4 stars for simple...

Food was just not good. My shrimp fried rice was almost white when I feel like all my life fried rice has been a yellowish color. And it was horrible. I got wings and they had a sweet taste to them...didn't like that for fried chicken. I sat down and ate and I must say, I was Extremely Surprised with how clean they were!! Floors clean, cooking area was clean but unfortunately, the palate was not pleased and my daughter said I can't eat anymore its starting to make my stomach hurt...I understood bc mine was beginning to feel that way too. The lady who took our order didnt even say hi, how can i help you. She just walked up and stood there mute until i started to order. Will not be returning. I gave 2 stars due to cleanliness otherwise...
