When looking at who might be able to cater our intimate Wedding at Green Hill Farm, we reached out to a number of vendors to inquire about prices, menus, etc. After conversations with several, we agreed that Savory Spoon Catering seemed to be the best choice we could make.

Not only did each of the various menus presented sound delicious, the pricing was absolutely fair and far better than we were seeing with other vendors in and around our area.

After working with Cheri to settle on a menu for our event, we followed up with a tasting of several of the items we chose and found the dishes to be just as savory as we'd hoped. She stayed in touch with us throughout the planning process up to execution. She even contacted us a few days before the wedding asking if we would be interested in adjusting from Tilapia to Salmon or Steelhead at no additional charge as she was seeing great prices when sourcing ingredients!

On the day of the event, we were simply blown away by how wonderful everything looked and tasted! Cheri and her team had everything impeccably arranged, from appetizers to entrees. Our guests repeatedly asked who made the food, remarking on how great everything looked and tasted.

June 6th, the day of our wedding was an incredible and memorable day. This team is accommodating, professional and yet still personal. Savory Spoon delivered on everything they promised from taste to experience and so much more. If you are are considering them to cater your occassion, whatever it may be, this is one of those rare instances where you get so much more than what you are paying for.

Cheri Thompson, her chef’s and the staff at Savory Spoon were incredible from the very beginning. We contacted the Savory Spoon after an issue with the catering from our venue. She was quick to jump in with us, going over menu ideas and coming up with a theme for the evening. We went for an initial consultant and tasting and immediately fell in love. Her demeanor and energy made an already delicious meal even better and we quickly booked her for our October 2016 wedding. She helped us create a special Cuban themed cocktail menu, even coming up with some new recipes for us! We wanted to try a family style dinner service, which we knew would be more complicated, but created a great environment at our reception. The family style didn’t scare Cheri and she jumped right in making it work out logistically. Our guest raved about how great the food was! Everything was delicious and fresh and tasted even better than our initial tasting. Cheri even let us pick through her collection of decorations to add a little extra flare to our ceremony site. Everything about our experience with Savory Spoon was amazing, we would highly recommend them...

Cheri, Chef Erin and all the satff at The Savory Spoon made my 60th birthday an event I will always remember and cherish. Cheri's bubbly personality, attention to detail, and excellent listening skillls , made it very easy to plan a four course progressive buffett menu. Some of my guests, including myself, had various food allergies that needed to be addressed. Cheri was instrumental in finding a menu that could accomondate everyone's needs. On the day of the party, the catering staff was incredibly professional!!! I didn't have to lift a hand. They set up everything, maintained all the different courses, ensured that every need was taken care of and took care of cleaning up everything after the party. If you are looking for a catering company that is fun to work with, reasonable priced and makes fabulously delicious food, The Savory Spoon is the team to choose.
