Cato Fashions — Local services in Fredericksburg

I have been a fan of Cato for many years now and love the clothes and accessories. This particular location (Fredericksburg, VA) could use a different manager though. She is gruff and even rude to customers. My most recent visit to the store, while I was waiting in line, I overheard how she spoke to the customer in front of me (and the customer clearly felt belittled), and then when it was my turn the manager spoke rudely to me as well. If brick and mortar stores want to remain open they need excellent employees. Please find a new manager...

Great clothing store for women of all sizes. Their staff is very helpful and friendly. They get a new truck every Monday, so Tuesday afternoon is the best time to get there so you can browse the new selections in all available sizes. They have clearance racks, with really good prices. Their overall prices are very reasonable. I’ve bought from them for several years, and their clothing holds up in the wash. I purchased clothing at other stores, and after one wash it’s no longer wearable, even when it says machine washable. ...

Walked in the door, Saw two Employees, Neither one of them acknowledged me for a good 10 or more min.
