Buyer beware!! Do not buy from Seaga. We purchased a Seaga SM23 combo in June of 2021 for our business. The drink portion stopped cooling in June of 2023. We reached out to tech support and worked with Jamaal. He ran us through some troubleshooting and sold us a fan. The fan did not fix the issue. We asked Jamaal for the name and number of a local tech whom we could pay to fix our unit. Jamaal responded that we do not need a tech because his phone support will save us so much money. It is now October 25th, 2023, and our SM23 is still broken. We have reached out to all the vending techs in Western WA state we could find, and none of them will touch the Seaga units. We asked Jamaal if there is a port on the compressor for refilling freon. Jamaal responded yes, and told us to take the unit to a refrigeration company. We did as instructed and found out that there is in fact no port on the compressor for refilling the freon. We placed multiple calls to Seaga to find someone else to help. No calls back. We tried the sales department and were informed that they would not help nudge things in the right direction. Sales referred us the Seaga's main number. We received no answer or callback from that number either. Yesterday we emailed Jamaal to ask for detailed instructions for filling the freon. He responded that he was confused, and that he explained this. Not just anyone could refill the freon. We had followed his instructions by taking the unit to a licensed tech who found no refill port. This has been a senseless nightmare. We bought a $3,400.00 vending machine that lasted exactly two years from the first day we used it. We have dealt with a condescending tech who works hard to...
Read moreI bought 2 envision model machines (snack and soda) from Sam's Club. First, they show false advertising on the soda machine. They show the drinks standing straight up. That is impossible and the drinks must be leaned backwards. I called Seaga sales and they confirmed that what's shown on Sam's is just for advertising purposes and the bottles have to be leaned back. I'm sorry, I didn't know that, and I would have never purchased this machine because I don't like the bottles leaning back.
But much more troublesome is the coin mechanism. I've had the machines only 1 week, and I've had nearly 10 coin jams between both machines. I spoke to the tech support manager and he was combative and extremely disappointing. His only recommendation was that customers were putting quarters in too fast and the only thing I can do is put a sign on the machine to put coins slowly. He even went on to say my location may not be appropriate for his machine, so I guess he acknowledges himself the coin mech is problematic. I'm sorry, but customers do not read signs. Signage will not fix the problem. The coin mech is terrible, and I can say this with confidence because I've had many different vending machines in the store and they never jammed like these Seaga machines.
Anyway, they like to show false ads, and their tech support is combative, rude and condescending. Buyer beware...please take all these bad reviews to heart when considering purchasing from...
Read moreI have been in the vending business for just over 1 year . I purchased 5 INF5C machines and use them exclusively. As of yesterday I have had 3 cooling decks go out . Two cooling decks went out just after the first month in service on two brand new machines . The first replacement just lasted 1 year . And the cost of a new one is around $ 900.00 with shipping . My machines are not placed in a dusty sawmill . They are in climate controlled break rooms . They are not being abused by the general public. I expect things like the keypad to break after extensive use . But to have the cooling deck go out in the first month of a $ 6000.00 industrial machine ? To add insult to injury, the last replacement cooling deck Seaga sent me . Two supports on the evaporator fan were broken . What type of quality control does Seaga have ? If I had know about this before I purchased these high priced machines , I would not have used Seaga . I hope this helps someone else not make the same...
