Asia Cafe — Restaurant in Freeport

I like it when I get to leave a good review and Asia Cafe in Freeport deserves it. I've been to all the Chinese food places in Freeport and none compete with the food from here. I have been to this establishment eight times now and even the times where it wasn't thier top service it was still delicious food. The place is always busy around dinner rush (which should be a good sign) and the prices for what you are getting are fair. My go to is the chicken fried rice but I have also had the orange chicken and the general Tso and it's not blow your mind cuisine but for the area it really hits the Chinese food craving spot. My only critique would be on the crab Rangoons. They seem really phoned in. I would be willing to pay more for a higher quality supplier of those, but what's currently offered is a little disappointing. I have been here 4 times at least now so I feel like I can give it a proper review. This is a family owned restaurant that serves both Chinese and Japanese food. The quality of the food is great! They have amazing sushi. My husband and I came here two nights ago and asked for the Philly roll. Our server thought we said Lily roll which is a bit more expensive. When it was brought to the table we both discovered the communication error and the server offered to bring us a new roll. We said it was fine and we would try the roll. They gave it to us for the price of the philly. Man the Lily roll is amazing you should try it. I would have paid full price for it!! Also they have hands down the best egg rolls ever!!! I had arrive and to get out of the car I was greeted with an unholy smell and I had walked up on to the sidewalk before the building to find the drain for what only I can assume was for their draining system and all that was coming out was grease and a kind of liguid that smelled horrible, I continued into the building to get my food just too see in the back that a man cooking my food had water boots on and cooking food while also walking around in what I can only guess was grease and dirty water the smell of the inside was off putting to the point where I could not eat the food no matter what it looked like, I just can’t get that image...
