Love's Travel Stop — Local services in Frenchtown Charter Township

This store overall was great- clean & organized. But we experienced a drawback this morning. Apparently a semi truck broke down near the fuel lanes and right in front of our truck. Luckily after some time passed, the truck parked next to us left so we were able to to maneuver around the broken down truck using the spot that opened up. Now, what got my husband upset was the employees that were involved in this situation did not do much to help out. The lady he spoke to over the phone told him her team lead said to call the police non-emergency number- which he did and was basically told that he needed to call a tow company to come tow it and it would be us having to pay for it. Love's could have shown better customer service and had the truck towed out of the way. I mean, they've called tow companies before to move parked trucks in the fuel lane so other trucks weren't blocked in at the pumps- what's the difference with our situation? We were paying customers who needed to be out on the road by a certain time but were blocked in. Your guys need to do better in these situations because this was bad customer service and situations like this could repeat again...

Today, I had a very unpleasant experience at the Love's Truck Stop. While filling up my gas tank and printing some paperwork, I encountered a cashier named Loe who was working at the gasoline side. Loe had a broken tooth, blonde hair, and tattoos.

As I went to refill my coffee, Loe accused me of taking a new cup, even though I had scanned my refill correctly. She claimed that she saw me take the new cup, which was simply not true. This accusation was both baseless and unacceptable, leaving me feeling quite upset and frustrated.

In light of this incident, I strongly believe that Love's Truck Stop must take action. Loe's behavior was unprofessional and unjustified, and as a representative of the company, she failed to uphold its standards of customer service. I urge Love's Company to issue a formal apology for the incident and to consider terminating Loe's employment.

The time was 9:04 pm 06/5/2024when this incident occurred, and it is crucial that Love's Truck Stop takes appropriate measures to address the situation. A customer should not be treated in such a manner, and it is imperative that steps are taken to ensure that such incidents do not recur...

I have a medical condition.Doctor explained it to me a long time ago. Big medical term I dont remember. Basically my teeth are too soft. Something to do with coming from pure Irish grandparents on one side and Huron Indian on the other. Over time the teeth just come apart. Nothing you can do really. Alot of young people even have this condition. Life aint easy, what with all the dirty looks and comments etc, but Id like to thank the young almost albino looking guy and his female coworker for making my visit to the Hardees SUPER uncomfortable today. The girl, young, brown hair and not exactly the hot girl at school type mouthed "OH MY GOD!!!" to the cook which was unpleasant enough, but continued to laugh and make jokes (loudly) the entire time I was there and took my daily misery to a whole new level. Its not cool to do that to other people and makes them not want to come back again. Other than that the place is nice and new, lots of parking, and the other employees seemed to have been raised by decent parents who taught them not to behave like the employees in...
