Edit (6/25/2025): updated from ⭐️⭐️⭐️ to ⭐️; I'm SO SICK of this location's daily SOPs changing depending on who's working (pharmacy techs, pharmacist, etc). I've been embarrassed & STILL denied service on 20+ service incidents strictly related to the pharmacy (Alex, 1 of the pharmacy techs does a good job & not included in this updated edited review). This location has to get its shit together & stop treating people like they're a nuisance for simply picking up medication, including, but not limited to, shutting down the damn Pharmacy earlier than what's posted. I'm nearly 100% + closing the Pharm down early is illegal - I'll be contacting DHHS, BHA, COMAR, CFR, & other related agencies for clarification. Idc if I'm here 30secs before closing time, your job is to serve customers to the best of your ability. However, this location seems to think they can say whatever they want over the drive-thru intercom then walk away & disregard any further discussion. I'll be recording ALL future correspondence for "quality assurance & training purposes". I can only imagine those that fill Suboxone/BUP thru this Pharm & have the same issues b/c it's enough to make any person want to drive thru the glass & considering the Pharm makes up a large portion of profit for this company, you'd think the people handling Rxs would be a little more gracious to the customers they are serving. #Ignorant #Pathetic #IHateThisPlace
Original: I would've given ⭐️⭐️ but now that I get my meds every 90days vs 30days the nonsense only happens 4x/yearly. There have been times I've wanted to throw my phone at the winxow bc it's SO infuriatingly vexing but then I'd be out of a 📱 & my 💊s. I do have 1 specialty medication that I've had to guide techs on running it through the systems correctly. I'm glad they now have more realistic pharm hours vs only during the tim adults are at work. My last point, my medz never get filled@the same time; I used to go to CVS Pharmacy & they consistently had my meds refill-ready at the same time. For some reason, I can't get this at Walgreens despite the # of times I've called corporate pharmacist. It's always been an issue but because of the other issues I don't push my luck. At this point I'm just glad my meds get filled & I don't suffer thru thoughts of anticipated anxiety & withdrawal concerns. Thank the gods that my CRNP/MD is aware of this specific pharmacy location having this piss poor reputation. Recently, I've been able to consistently get the same pharm techn which GREATLY helps. Shout out to Alex, pharm tech, who expeditiously resolves w/e"s happening. My pharmacy visit today is likely the reason I am also inclined to keep this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ vs ⭐️⭐️ review. But then again I did just get all of my medication filled/picked up except for 1 which was listed as "refill refused by provider" on Walgreens website even though I spoke with my medical provider probably 7-8 times over the past business week to try and get all of these medication-related issues resolved, 1 of which was the "refusal" & when 2020 graciously welcomed us with a global pandemic, it only worsened all of the emotions that my medications treat, compounded with the fear of not having access to the medications. And it was very frustrating dealing with the private insurance, secondary insurance, secondary insurance corporate-level pharmacist, the pharmacy at walgreens, the technicians, and the pharmacist. It's exhausting when you know what medication you need and it's been consistently the same over the past 18 - 24 months, to only be told that a refill wasn't sent in or the medication was filled too late and didn't make it in time for the upcoming medication mail delivery, or some other non-customer related issue. Too bad they can't fill your medications for 6 months because that would be not only ideal but 1 less thing I have to worry about; might just be me, idk, but I do know my feelings & experiences with this location have been reciprocated by a dozen others...
Read moreI have been trying to get prescriptions filled. The prescription I need is on a shortage. I called and asking if they would be able to fill it and they said yes. I called again after I had my doctor send it with a follow up call to see if they could fill it and come and pick it up today. They asked if I had used them before and I said yes. Then they asked if I had insurance which I said no at which point their entire attitude changed saying that due to shortage we are not certain we be able to fill this prescription for new patients. What?!?!?
After them asking a bunch of unrelated questions. It was clear because of the shortage they will only fill out prescriptions to INSURED patients only because they can charge more. As I am writing this review I received a message stating that my prescription was delayed due to and insurance issue.
What they are doing is discrimination for higher profits. To me that should be illegal and if it is I will...
Read moreFrostburg, MD store...service is awful! First day,I was ignored through the pharmacy drive up window one day for 15 minutes. Then, when finally got served, she was out of sight for another 15 minutes and didn't produce my request, nor tell me differently when I finally received my Rx. Next visit: ignored in the store and was treated like I was a bother, as I was asking questions about a product at the pharmacy about an ear tx. "Go ask the front cashier. We don't stock the shelves." WTH?!!!! Then the front cashier acted with the same curtness..."Not all Walgreens stock the same products"... Really? Then why do you not state this on your promotion of these products? I never feel supported in this store, nor on the phone with...
