Dripping with POTENTIAL! Taste of food - EXCELLENT! Presentation/portions - Uneven. I was very surprised. I ordered Loco Moco (as someone who is familiar with Hawaii, this is a must if I see it on a menu anywhere it 'shouldn't be!') and it was tiny compared to the other dishes we ordered. In some ways it seemed like an afterthought compared to everything else that came out. The bao's were FANTASTIC (see pic). Chicken satay skewers were so tasty! Again, the taste of everything was great! But the service . . . . oh boy. I think the young man who was working there was trying this best but it just didn't seem like he had any training (plus he was solo so he was trying to juggle everyone by himself). Took the order wrong . . . we had to prompt for silverware and napkins . . . never made rounds or checked on my table . . . took a long time to enter information on the computer . . . had to be shown items in the menu (leading me to believe he doesn't know the menu that well?) . . . I don't mind having to wait for food and some of the other reviews mentioned how good it was and that you may have to wait. But this time it WAS a long wait. I think ordering ahead is the way to go. The great thing is that all this can be fixed/improved upon/evolved to really have this shop flex its muscle. Arguably the best hidden spot about this place is the kids section in the back - HUGE with so many things to keep the little one's busy. It's neat to see a restaurant have a dedicated section for kids and away enough from the main area to hopefully not distract too much. Loved this space! I will give this place another chance . . . but it broke my heart to write this and to experience this first-hand.

We’re always on the lookout for local gems, so during our trip to Maryland, we decided to check out a place we’d searched in the area. As soon as we walked in, we were surprised by how spacious the restaurant was. There was so much room, and it even had a spot where kids could play, or you could host a big event if you wanted to. The owner and his family were so welcoming, and we could tell they really cared about their customers. They made us feel comfortable. Now, the food – wow. We started with the shrimp and crab fried rice (it is a real crab) and the chicken panang curry, and each bite was packed with flavor. The spices were just perfect, and their chili garlic sauce? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. I even thought the shrimp coconut was the fried rice at first, so now I’m really looking forward to trying that next time. It was such a great find, and we’re so glad we stopped by!

This place is AMAZING. Sarah is an absolute food genius. Everything I've ever eaten here has been fantastic. They understand food allergies and sensitivities- GLUTEN FREE DUMPLINGS. need I say more?! The Pho is incredible. The Chive cakes are probably my most favorite food ever. And the Thai Iced tea is the best I've ever had. Don't sleep on this beast. It's a little pricy for the portion sizes, but makes up for it in flavor & quality ingredients!!

I didn’t get to order or spend any money because I came in and sat down and then waited for 15 minutes before I ended up leaving…yet 2 women who walked in 5 minutes after I did and walked up to the counter to order “several coffees to go” were waited on right away and coffees were started and going while I sat…still looking at my menu. From a service standpoint, people who come in and sit down are probably gonna end up spending more money than people buying coffee to go…just saying. Also, they probably would have been ok to wait 5 minutes while you got our food order and got it going in the kitchen with a “hey, take a look at the coffee menu, I’ll be right back after I run and take their order really quick.” I’m willing to wait for good food, but I’m not willing to wait if you ignore me after the initial greeting and then serve people who walked in after I did who are obviously going to spend less money. Restaurant...
