I had a great experience the first time coming here with a friend. We were happy with the purchase and had a pleasant interaction with the saleswoman, who was so personable. She gave my friend a 10% discount for a good review, which he was happy to do because she was so helpful and great with us. Had today’s visit been a repeat of that experience, I’d have given a 5 star rating.
However, my second visit was admittedly disappointing and warrants a low rating. There was a younger guy working and he was rude to me, only responding with one-word answers. I made my purchase despite his attitude, deciding not to take it personally. Upon checking it in the parking lot, I realized that the cartridge was leaking resin. I immediately brought it back in to point it out to him and hopefully exchange it for another product.
He encouraged me to keep it and use it, and if it didn’t work to bring it back in. I told him I was not comfortable with that and would rather not leave with a defective product. He exchanged it with a smaller cartridge from the same brand, and was visibly irritated that I asked him if he could check it before leaving.
The whole interaction was so odd. I understand that things can happen in transport, but it was very surprising to me how he pushed a defective product on me. I also can’t help but suspect that there was a price difference with the product (given that the first cart was 2g and the second was 1g) and that I may have been owed the difference. However, I was so turned off by his unpleasant demeanor that I just wanted to leave.
Edit: I was so touched by the sincere reply from the store that I went back. I had a very positive experience with staff and was even given a discount on my purchase in an effort to make things right. I was very happy with the product, and it’s great to know that the team communicates well behind the scenes....
