United States Postal Service — Local services in Fruitland

I was expecting an extremely important package (loved one's ashes) that were supposed to be here two weeks ago. I called and politely asked the person on the phone if they could see if they could tell me if it had gotten there yet. I told them I did not have the tracking number as the person shipping it did not give it to me. The person on the phone told me that if I am just expecting them to look for a package because I don't feel like going in then that is NOT their problem and it is MY responsibility. I told the person that was rude to say and the person proceeded to argue with me about how they are NOT rude. I told them goodbye and they were still trying to argue with me when I hung up. I was very disappointed with the customer service. If the person had been more polite on the phone and explained things in a nice way, I would not be upset. Unfortunately, the service I received was absolutely horrible and very upsetting. In the past I have talked to kind, helpful people who work there, so I hope that the person I spoke to was just having a bad day and does not handle all of their customer service...

1: Had a delivery woman practically HAND ME the "sorry I missed you" slip (she was still there at the next mailbox). Says she forgot my package. 2: Waited for another package I needed saying it was out for delivery. Met her at the box, she claimed she had nothing for me. Told her the website said it was out for delivery and she found it right next to her! She literally looked to her left and said, "Oh I guess you're right." 3: Overnight important package that wans not dropped off, no slip left, had to check tracking to find out that it never left the post office and I have to pick it up. We stopped getting mail after the first day of January, didn't get any for 3 weeks delivered to our house. So we extended our mailbox to make it easier for the mailman to deliver mail because of the snow. Now they seem to think $2000 in product in a package is too be set on the board behind the mailbox used to extend the mailbox, instead of taken it to the steps because their too lazy to deliver packages mailed through the post office!! Do not send packages through the mail anymore they don't believe in putting them on the door step! Anyone can walk by and grab those boxes sitting there and no one would...
