A Disastrous Wedding Experience: A Cautionary Tale for Couples Considering Hangar 21/"Jay's Catering" in Fullerton, CA
A Nightmare Unveiled: My Warning to All Southern California Couples
Planning a wedding is an exciting and momentous experience for any couple. It is a day filled with dreams, promises, and the hope of creating cherished memories. Yet, the reality of my wedding day at Hangar 21/"Jay's Catering" in Fullerton, CA left me bitterly disappointed, shattering my expectations and leaving an indelible mark of discontent. As a bride who dedicated countless hours to ensure the wedding of my dreams, I write this cautionary tale as an enraged yet informed warning to couples contemplating entrusting their special day to this establishment.
The Unexpected Helicopter Maintenance Debacle: An Unforgivable Act of Disruption and Chaos
My meticulously planned wedding day quickly transformed into a disastrous nightmare at Hangar 21. Shockingly, the venue made the ill-conceived decision to proceed with emergency helicopter maintenance by a neighboring business on the exact day and time of my vows. With no consideration for their guests, this egregious choice not only disrupted the tranquility we had envisioned but also created an atmosphere of pandemonium and unrelenting noise.
Lack of Empathy and Mediation: A Cold Shoulder in the Face of Desperation
Adding insult to injury, Hangar 21 demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and indifference towards the consequences of their ill-advised collaboration. When I approached them with my grievances, I expected a sincere and compassionate response, along with concrete plans for mediation. However, Hangar 21 callously disregarded my distress, offering no meaningful response or willingness to accept responsibility.
A Stolen Moment in Time: When Dreams Turn to Nightmares
Every couple dreams of a wedding day that transcends time, becoming an eternal memory of joy and love. Unfortunately, my wedding day at Hangar 21 serves as a harrowing reminder of how this cherished moment was unjustly stolen from us. The thunderous roar of helicopters and the ensuing chaos eclipsed the joy and beauty of the occasion, forever tainting the memories we should have held dear.
A Call for Awareness: Heed the Warning, Southern California Couples
With a heavy heart and a sense of duty, I implore all couples considering Hangar 21/"Jay's Catering" in Fullerton, CA as their wedding venue to exercise extreme caution before making this crucial decision. Let my experience serve as a cautionary tale amidst the sea of promises and marketing campaigns. Look beyond the surface and thoroughly research the integrity and dedication of any establishment you entrust with your dreams. May you be spared the disappointment, frustration, and heartache that I endured on what should have been the happiest day of my life.
An Establishment Shattered Dreams: A Plea for Precaution
Hangar 21/"Jay's Catering" in Fullerton, CA unequivocally failed to deliver the wedding experience every couple deserves. Their ill-conceived collaboration with a neighboring business resulted in an unforgettable disaster, met with an astonishing absence of remorse. I implore future couples to tread cautiously, conducting thorough research and seeking the experiences of others before choosing their wedding venue. Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, deserving to be a flawless realization of your dreams, free from avoidable pitfalls and the...
Read moreI attended a wedding here in early April, 2023. I had high hopes for this venue as it had the potential to not only be aesthetically pleasing but also, something I’ve not seen before. It offered a spectacular bride/groom helicopter entrance and I was so excited to see my friends arrive in this glamorous way to their reception.
Unfortunately, the venue itself was a let down for several reasons.
The bridal party that’s was at the venue an hour prior to the reception didn’t have an adequate get ready/touch up area for the bridesmaids. It was incredibly difficult to walk up the stairs with our heels on every time we needed to get something for the bride or leave our items, etc. huge inconvenience. Also the space was super small, the couch fit 3-4 girls at the most, and we were a bridal party of 11.
There was no area/setup for refreshments and the venue didn’t even provide any water until shortly before the ceremony. It was awful. In the end I ended up sending my husband across the street to get drinks because we were depleated.
The ABSOLUTE WORST noise was taking place during my best friends’ nuptials. The helicopter noise taking place was never a part of her package, in fact, it was a non scheduled non routine exercise for the adjacent hangar. We were hoping that the noise would subside after a couple of minutes but it went on and on for the ENTIRETY of their wedding ceremony. These are the moments of your wedding you can never get back! I am Absolutely devastated for my friend who never got the ceremony she deserves.
I would include a link to the ceremony, but google reviews don’t allow for this. However, with a few clicks on other wedding related websites, you will be able to see the recording and just how bad the whole ordeal was.
What is even more disappointing is that the venue admitted that the incident with the noise was unplanned, but they did not offer any remedy, financial or otherwise. I would NEVER recommend anyone ever gets married here for this reason.
I do not leave negative reviews for businesses because my personal mantra is that if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. But staying quiet about this would be a travesty.
Good luck if you’ve booked with this venue! I hope your experience is...
Read moreI attended a wedding here on 04/01/2023 as a groomsman. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this as a wedding venue. I am sure it is an acceptable location if there are no setbacks. However, on this day the wedding was interrupted by intense helicopter noise in the middle of the service. The noise was so overwhelming that I could not hear the officiant despite being a few feet away from him. This is a hangar, and unexpected noises can be anticipated to a degree. It baffles me the staff was either unprepared or mishandled the entire event logistically. The venue should have staff ready to address incoming disruptive noise. If they did, someone could have advised the wedding to either delay or at least managed expectations. I can't imagine this hasn't happened before. To me, this reflects a level of apathy unfit for a wedding venue. They are not prepared to handle the uncertainties of their business. As a result many, including myself, feel that they ruined the the most important part of the wedding. Further, it is my understanding that no effort was made to rectify this mishap. Hangar 21 is not serious about the service they provide, and I encourage prospective customers to...
