We live in Norcal and every time we drive down to Socal, we make a stop at Van Dyke coffee for their coffee, coffee beans, large-sized cookies and scones. My kids devoured the cookies as soon as we bought them so no pictures, but my favorite is the chocolate cookie with melted marshmallow in the middle and my kids' favorite is (of course) cookies & cream and M&Ms. But more importantly, going back to the quality of coffee, it's top-notch coffee. The owner roasts the coffee beans himself. I always pick up bags of espresso blend to drink back home- well balanced with deep nutty and chocolaty flavors.

A nice little coffee shop. It's got signage inside for your Instagram photo girlfriends and a view of the runway if you want to sit and watch planes go by. Seemed like a nice place to study should you need to get out. The beans they use for coffee are pretty legit. They got bags of beans and a roaster in there so I'm assuming they do it in house. My cold brew had fruity cherry and dark chocolate notes which were great to wake up with on a lazy Saturday. Pretty noticably high quality stuff.

This is my favorite coffee place that makes real coffee in this area. They have loyalty stamp card that you get free cup of coffee after 10 stamps. Also, they roast the beans there and if you buy a fresh pack of coffee beans, you get free cup of coffee. If you like hot latte, please try this place!

I went twice in 1 day. In the afternoon, and then a stop-by after dinner. I definitely had the jitters that night! (but it was worth it)

Most drinks are $5.25

-Iced Banana Latte: A little too sweet. But you can really taste the banana milk.

Hot Banana Latte: The coffee is much stronger than the iced version. There's only a hint of banana taste. Liked it!

Iced Strawberry Latte: I preferred the banana over this one. Also came with 2 espresso shots.

I also REALLY like their cookies. They are homemade and they're GINORMOUS.

I've tried the Healthy Cookie (almonds, sunflower seeds, cherries, oats, nuts) and the Oatmeal Raisin (really thick cookie, so amazing). They also have Oreo, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Chip.

Will be back for more cookies...

A cute coffee shop near Fullerton municipal airport. They roast their beans in the giant roaster thing at the store and the price isn't too bad either.

There used to be more seating area but they moved their roaster thing-y and got rid of the tables and chairs that used to be there.

I got toffee nut latte with oreo cookie and chocolate&walnut cookie. The cookies were huge and only cost $2.95. Oreo cookie had oreos and dried cranberries but was a bit dry so I regret getting it. Chocolate&walnut was better- it had somewhat melted chocolate morsels and good amount of walnuts.

It'd be a nice stop for a cup of coffee if you are in the neighborhood.

*5/11/2022 update: Went there today and got vanilla latte with oat milk- coffee tasted much smoother...

Went to buy a bag of in-house, freshly roasted, coffee beans and was very pleased/impressed by the level of customer service, care, and patience exuded by each barista. They helped me pick the perfect bag of beans based off my preferences and were extremely gracious. By purchasing a bag of beans, any coffee drink on the menu was complimentary and included with the bag purchase ($20 for bag of coffee beans + free drink), so I tried the Spanish latte with no cinnamon. Absolutely delicious! They even gave a stamp card for future purchases.

Will definitely be back to try other coffee beans in the future!

Also, the cookies are GIGANTIC and looked amazing. Made in house every morning. Will try one...
