Clean fresh supermarket with great staff great prices and good selection some very unique items along with the traditional favorite staples. Watch for the steak specials The price is amazing the meat is closer to top quality than economy grade.
Update 06/14/22 , it has been four or five months since my last reviews and this super market has continued with everything they were doing well and improved in some areas. Meat market is still my favorite for my everyday meats and seafood. Pork prices have remained very low with pork tenderloin sometimes below two dollars per pound. I saw one week where pork loin endroast were 68 cents per pound. That is hard to beat. Recently I got ten pounds of salt cured thin sliced bulk packaged bacon . It tastes great no waste. I love bacon. I wish they were as competitive on chicken as on all other meats. I increased my star rating by one star up to a top score of five stars
Another update since I eat all the time this among my favorite places to go. The previous post have been about the price today I relay my experience with the staff. On New Years Eve morning I went down to pick up some things and had a shopping experience that was refreshing The stock staff were working late and I noticed a stock person not only was he attempting to finish his duties and have the store presentable for the day he was more than helpful with anybody that appeared to be needing assistance. He provided helpful guidance at least four times while I was there (no I was not stalking) but after the second time I paid better attention. He was in the process of cleaning up his area to go home and still provide customer service. I would give another star to the business if possible . Three thumbs up for the great...
Read moreI like the convenience of the store because I live close by. Before I would have to either go to Attalla or to East Gadsden to buy groceries. When the store first opened I love that place, but now that it's settled in the prices our beginning to increase rapidly. I understand that prices do go up, but when you have to turn around and add 10% to the price of what it already is and then 10% sales tax I could go to Walmart and save money. I just had to go over there today to buy groceries, and a family pack of ground chuck was going to cost me $23. So needless to say I didn't buy any. I really would hate to see Alabama city lose another store, but at the location that it is the people who live around can't afford those prices. And before long I'm afraid business will slack off because people will have to start going other places that...
Read moreIt's been a few weeks ago now. I bought $25 worth of food, when I got to the checkout the total was $33 and some change. Now I spoke to management about this , and she said that she didn't know why the bill was so high. It says cost plus 10%+10%tax , ok that's all good but what's the other $3 for I asked and she couldn't tell me . So looking at the receipt I found two $1.50 , extras which she couldn't explain. So shoppers beware and check your receipts, something isn't adding up and I think you all know what it is . You might not think $1.50 is much but when you multiple that times thousands of shoppers it becomes a substantial amount. So look at your receipts. I will personally never shop there again and I've been shopping there for years, they've gotten all the free money there...
