I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Kirsikka Jewelry! I was referred to them by a friend, and I went in with a picture of an engagement ring that my fiancee fell in love with at Zales. I showed Alexis the picture and he said could duplicate it. Sure enough we looked through his catalog, and found the exact match for what she wanted. The quality of the work that Alexis did was amazing, I couldn't believe how beautiful the ring came out. It had a lot of little diamonds in it, and he must have put a lot of time in to make it look as perfect as it did.

I will be recommending Alexis and Kirsikka to any and all of my friends who have jewelry needs. I went to Kirsikka Jewelry to have an engagement ring re-sized. Not only did they do it on the spot in about an hour (I believe they're the only store that does same day re-sizing in Gainesville), but it was for a lower price than any other store I called (who weren't even same day) and it turned out great.

While waiting, my fiance and I spent a lot of time talking to the owner of the store, Alexis Hytonen, and it became clear to us that he has had a lot of experience in the jewelry business and is very knowledgeable about his trade. He was also extremely personable and helpful and we enjoyed our experience there very much.

If you are considering getting any kind of jewelry look no further. I get so many compliments on my ring all of the time. My fiance asked Alexis to make my ring from a Spanish copper coin recovered from a shipwreck that my fiance had collected. Alexis took his coin and made my custom ring, which is 14k rose gold with intertwining bands that are laced with 90 diamonds, leading to a pear shaped moonstone that is surrounded by a halo of diamonds.
