I have never left a review here but wanted to many times in the past yr seems every time I call to get to go Take Out something is Wrong! Sadly this was our "go to" Spot.. Very bad Take Out always Wrong or they give my pizza to the other customers and they take double the time we were given to pick up, this happens a lot, and I confirm the time over before ending the call...!!! We give them another and another chance... But no longer.. we'll go elsewhere now!!! So frustrating. We Kept giving them Another chance it's been bad the past year... as far as orders to go... but no more, sadly it has been way too much, and too many bad experiences. Especially call in orders, young man on the phone is not capable of taking correct orders and the responsibility, I saw them give a pizza to someone then blames the other customer when it turned out wrong. As well as rings in orders wrong. Had asked to speak to manager but they said no it will not change the situation and they were too busy.. they don't seem to understand how to correct an order. We have given them lots and Lots of of business over the yrs and not giving them another try... O Sole Mio is a Keeper an awesome Italian little spot in Jonesville, even other Pizza places down Archer Rd are more capable. We really liked this place but it has gone down hill...
Read moreGluten free: I ordered two gluten free pizzas which only come in a 10” size for 1 person. The “old fashioned” one was a really thin crust with a very thin dry layer of sauce on it and literally a few pieces of cheese placed throughout. I was in shock that I paid $17+ something like this. Really insulting and mediocre. You should have seen it! The “all American” one was okay with vegetables and cheese.
I ordered a side of fries and wasn’t told that those are not gluten free after thoroughly asking for gluten free menu items. The parmesan cheese packets were flavorless tasted like cellulose or fiber. No cheese. The gluten free crust tasted like cardboard and was undercooked both times.
Husband had to go back in and return/fix the fries and the old fashioned pizza. They said they added cheese to the pizza. What I received was a $17+ cardboard 10” thin dough with a little sauce and a few pieces of mozzarella. It was so bad, even while I was starving, that I had to eat the delicious sauce and mozzarella cheese by itself leaving the cheese.
I have had this pizza before I was gluten free and their regular dough is delicious. Their little bread rolls are a delight! They come with parmesan cheese and like a vinaigrette.
This place is delicious for non...
Read moreI love the lasagna the chicken parmesan and a lot of their baked Italian dishes. I mostly order to go and they typically give you their rolls that are sitting in their specialty dressing which is like Italian. If you're in a restaurant that's fine but if you do take out. Do yourself a favor and ask for that dressing on the side because when you get home the rolls are just totally drenched & soggy. I love pizza and it's probably my most favorite food in the world but for some reason I'm not into Piesanos pizza. I'm more of a New York style fan because I grew up next to New York and their crust is thicker and it has like a grainy texture. Therefore I pretty much stay away from the pizza and I've tried many different styles. It may be for you so try it and see for yourself. They do have a thin crust old-time style pizza that was pretty delicious but for the size, I would say it's pretty pricey. Also their calzones are good and they have a giant meatball for an appetizer which is also delicious. I did try their steak and cheese sandwich and would never order that again. Overall I would say Piesanos is a very good restaurant and you need to try it out yourself and see if...
