Lakeview Cinema — Local services in Galeton

Gilton has one of the most unique and beautiful movie going experiences you will ever have. I stopped by here during the fireworks festival this year and briefly spoke to the owner. I came by the next day for a movie and all of the concessions are very fairly priced. This building is a former Church with a lot of history and it still features the original stonework. On the inside the original wood floor is still in place, at least I believe it's the original. Where the people used to worship is now been converted into a movie theater and it's a delightful and beautiful experience. There are some stained glass windows from the church that have a very very faint light shining through, not enough to distract you from the movie but it's very beautiful nonetheless. The ceiling is also beautiful and the movie experience was just a delight, I wish they played more than one movie at a time so I'd have more of a reason to continue to go back.

If you want a truly unique movie going experience I definitely recommend stopping by this place, it's beautiful and the service...

The Owner is a Great Lady, and Makes Awesome Buttered Popcorn...MUCH BETTER THAN THE BIG PLACES WHO "REHEAT" SHIPPED IN HUGE BAGS OF POPCORN...AND THAT'S HALF STALE MOST TIMES.

My mom and I just went to see the movie Trap, Lakeview cinema is a great place to see a movie! It's small, and the owner is very nice!!! This place should be more known to the world! I HIGHLY recommend...
