AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I used to enjoy this golf course as it was a nice place that was laid back where you could have fun. I tried to call the day before playing to setup a tee time. I was told by the clubhouse that anytime before 8:30 would be good before the seniors take off on the first tee. My friend and I got to the facility around 7:30 and paid for our round. We went to the first tee and their were two foursomes who were chipping around the tee box and getting their bags ready. For anyone who has played before you know that is common to skip ahead to not make the round take over four hours. We decided to skip ahead to the second hold and proceeded to play. When walking to the second green we were informed by a staff member that the course did not open til 8:00 and we could not play yet. I have never heard of a course opening at a certain time and the staff member was extremely rude. He told us to go back to the first tee and get in line and wait until 8 until we can play. We were in a time crunch and did not want to get behind two foursomes. We sat in the cart from 7:40-7:55 at the third tee and did not play. The staff member returned to the third tee and told us that if we did not return to the first tee then he would call the cops on us. We tried to have a calm reasonable conversation and he was not interested. He returned to the clubhouse and we got in line on the first tee. We were doing specifically what they asked as we were on the first tee talking to one of the foursomes in front of us who told us we could pass them on the first tee. We sat on the cart path at the first tee waiting our turn for ten minutes and the staff member returned with another staff member. He got out of his cart and told us that if we did not want to follow rules then we are not playing here. He reached into our cart grabbed our key and told us he had called the cops. This was the most ridiculous situation that I have ever been involved in as my friend and I were not confrontational with the staff at all. We had to walk back to the clubhouse with our clubs to get our refund. I can assure all of you I will never return to this golf course ever again and they could not have a more unprofessional and unreasonable staff. They do not deserve to receive your money and there are plenty of great golf courses around the area who will treat your respectfully and allow you to enjoy your time...
Read moreVery very bad 15th hole had some ass behind tee off and almost hit my wife. I left after that went to the office. I asked them what they would do as we spent 50 plus dollars to play the course for twilight and he said he would do nothing. I can not believe I was just ripped off like that. I am from out of town and was told that was a good course. After reading the reviews I was told wrong and should have confronted the people behind me golfing. Anybody that golfs knows you don't tee off until the people in front of you are finished or far enough ahead. Doesn't matter there I guess. When I asked the manager he said I should have played faster. Basically I was in the wrong. Had two people with me that have never golfed before. Great experience for them right. I would definitely not recommend anybody to golf there. Got to be better places to golf around this area. The manager said if I dont like it then never come back. How do you run a business like that unless you wanna go out of business. Horrible experience here when I finish moving here i will never golf there again. I golf about three to four times a week. There loss but they don't seem to care. Probably because they are publicly funded great for them but wasting tax dollars...
Read moreTo the staff that spoke badly about me, I hope you know that was extremely unprofessional. We had a tee time booked for 3 players and 2 riders, and asked multiple before we came if that was okay, and the woman on the phone said that it was fine and it would work out (keep in mind this is the day prior). We get to the facility and pay and they are throwing a fit. What they think, I’m assuming, they were talking about quietly amongst themselves was why I was even at the golf course when I was unable to play, even though we have played there multiple times prior to this incident. I had foot surgery a couple month prior and I am getting back into it, and I enjoy the game so I like to be out there with my friends while they are playing. Before you speak about someone TO SOMEONE IN MY GROUP, make sure you have all of the information. You were also rude to my sister who had come from out of town, and wanted to enjoy a day of watching golf. Sorry that you guys want to gate keep golf, but I hate to break it to you…golf is changing and it’s time to adjust to those changes. You were young once enjoying the sport, don’t ruin it for the people who are...
