Update: Just don't know what's going on with the workers. Not very busy since it was 8pm. However cashier had earbuds in & had to ask three times for a price check & then he had the balls to hand me the scanner to do it myself. REALLY LAZY!!! Not much options in a small area to shop so you either pay the high price or drive 30 minutes. If a disabled person's spends almost $80, you'd think that they would have took her groceries out & put them in the car. No he was to busy talking to the cashier about who he seen in town last night.

Had one price advertised for meat in the ad and on the sign at the meat and sold it for 41 cents more per pound on the label all week. $1.99. Gotta watch that.

I love the South. Only here can you get a rainbow of dranks. The store is clean and staff friendly.

Gaston, SC location. The first few times I shopped here, the sale items were in stock, I was able to shop and check out without issue. The last 2 months, the times I have shopped, the sale items have been completely sold out unless you get there the first day of the sale. Checking out has also become an issue. My father has a UHC card which the store states they accept. The app is loaded on the phone In case he forgets his card as I take him to all of his appointments and help him with the grocery shopping, buying clothes, anything he needs. This store still does not have the integration of the computers, so they still have to scan everything with a handheld machine if you are utilizing the UHC card. The last two times I have helped him with his shopping, I was able to utilize the app on the phone without issue. This last time as I was going to check out, they stated they need the actual card which they have never asked for because they, and every other grocery store, always utilize the app as it generates a new code every time you check out. To summarize, unless you are going the day the sale comes out, you will most likely not be able to find sale items. If you are utilizing any type of health card, you will have issues checking out, and be prepared for this store to say they have “always been doing something a certain way” even if you were there last month and you know this is not true. I will definitely not be shopping here again. Hopefully this helps someone else before they try...

Always has everything I need. The only thing was everyone that was working had a mask on except the cashier I had and she had some prombles checking me out bcuz I knew it wasn't my card but I had to stand there for almost 5 mins bcuz she was giggling bcuz she thought it was funny when I had to use 3 different cards bcuz she said wrong pin!! I started to leave $171.00 worth of grocery there in the cart bcuz of the way she was giggling!! Finally she said she will call the manager. The manager came and told her what to do and she did and my transaction was done!! I felt like if she had called the manager over I wouldn't have gotten frustrated! I have never Went to this store and had to go through that and really that cashier I feel needs to b trained over and especially let her know if there's a problem don't giggle in the customers face bcuz it's not professional at all!! IGA is great...
